I'm not a youtuber, simply created this video for your benefit to maximize the performance of the unit. Here is a link:

"Dell Aurora R12 RTX 3080 Repaste and Fan optimization - Easy 30 degree temp difference fix!"
Enjoy.
I've done it twice now. Both times they delayed my shipment every month. My first order took 5 months of delays before they finally cancelled and gave me a crappy 10% coupon that expires in June. Everyone on reddit knows not to bother posting these dell builds because dell doesn't ship. They simply take your payment information, add you to their mailer list, sell your information to other companies, cancel your order and enjoy the profits of their farmed mailer list of people who want the latest technology.
Dell is trash tier right now, hell I'd even trust Newegg over Dell when it comes to 3080 products, and that's embarrassing to say.
https://www.ign.com/articles/dell...-hot-price <- IGN did an article on this already. It was full of $1500 3080 builds and links.
Trust me, these guys aren't shipping. Feel free to reply here with a picture of it actually arriving if you think you can prove me wrong.

The chat guy specifically asked me how I got rid of the warranty. I just told him it was an option.
I already got my email from Chase saying I used the offer. Hopefully that pans out as expected for another $100 off.
I didn't even use the 10% off coupon I got via signing up for the newsletter, so I can keep that for the future. I also got 3% rewards (could have been 6% for financing but that negates the Chase $100).
Any advice on a "decent" (I'm not really gaming so I don't care) graphics card to replace the 3080 I'm going to sell on ebay?

As someone mentioned, on PC make your browser window really small and it adds the option to remove Warranty.
We'll see if either order makes it through...

Remember to be cordial -- they are based in India, respect means a lot to them. Talk to them by name and ask how they are when chat opens up.
Confirmed 512GB+16GB for less than $2,000 pre-tax.

As I mentioned before via Chat you can get another 5-7% discounts. If you are not happy with the offer, cancel the Chat and try another CSR. Just be nice to the CSRs, they are just trying to help you.
You can add the config you want in your cart with the 10% coupon. Email the CSR you cart and then them that you are trying to add 50OFF699 and SAVE17 but it's not working. They will come back and say that it's not applicable for the system and R12 is brand so you won't get further discounts. If you are polite and ask them nicely, they can will give your extra discounts. And also, you can try to add 2-3 years Premium warranty for free for extra $50-100.
Again, there is no set/exact pricing and the quote you will be given might be different from CSRs to CSRs. Be nice and decline the first offer, asking them that you are hoping to get a better discount and if they can run it by their supervisor and/or pricing department.
They might even ask you for a # that you are looking for. Don't lowball, your offer will be rejected right away.
I order a R11 earlier so not placing R12 order now. I was offered the following quotes:

2. R11 i9 10900F, RTX 3070, 1TB SSD, 32GB 3200Mhz RAM, Killer WiFi, 550 PSU - $1990.00 + Taxes
3. R11 i9 10900KF, RTX 3080, 2TB SSD, 64GB 3200Mhz RAM, Killer WiFi, 1000 PSU, 2 Yrs. Premium Support - $2750.00 + Taxes
4. R11 i9 10900KF, RTX 3080, 2TB SSD, 64GB 3200Mhz RAM, Killer WiFi, 1000 PSU, 3 Yrs. Premium Support - $2711.00 + Taxes
I am not planning to resell the video card and not interested in mining. Mostly use the desktop for video editing. Some folks will get the bare minimum PC from Dell and upgrade aftermarkets. Sometimes it's better to pay a little extra to Dell and get the warranty, so you don't have to worry about anything. If something happens, Dell will take care of parts/issues.
Everyone has different experience with Dell, Best Buy warranties. Again depends on the person you are dealing with. So far, I had been lucky with Dell, Best Buy, HP and even Lenovo supports. Sure, there are some bad apples but overall they had been great.
Good luck.
