Ordered on 3/20
Shipped on 4/12
Arrived 4/13

Paid the $25 for express shipping which was overnight Fedex.
Mining ETH at 84 MH out of the box, a few tweaks easily took it to 91 MH.

Card keeps throttling down due to the GPU Memory Junction hitting 110 degrees C. I knew this would be the case, but wanted to get a baseline.
New thermal pads and paste arriving tomorrow to resolve.

I ran my FE at a low PL% and kept it under 100C at 60-70 MH/s since pads take so long to arrive sometimes. This time around I have pads waiting and will probably mod this the same day, it hurts to see the card running at nonstop 110C lol.

Recommend you consider just adding paste between the plates, don't bother with pads yet. Been running for a few weeks after adding a few fans to the case, junction temp around 82-84 degrees, paste only, GPU fan at 100%. This is a great card and is averaging around 99 mh/s with low temps.
Your call, but it might save some time and frustration trying to jerk around with pads when just paste might do fine.

I think they just give worst case scenario. It'll more than likely ship soon if it hit production.

Got a shipping email last night and it shows it will be delivered today. Dell upgraded me to express shipping for free. Will see if i it actually arrives because the tracking doesn't show any movement from Texas.

You and everyone else. Everyone coming to slickdeals and posting these 3080 deals from dell don't understand that they will not actually ship.

I've done it twice now. Both times they delayed my shipment every month. My first order took 5 months of delays before they finally cancelled and gave me a crappy 10% coupon that expires in June. Everyone on reddit knows not to bother posting these dell builds because dell doesn't ship. They simply take your payment information, add you to their mailer list, sell your information to other companies, cancel your order and enjoy the profits of their farmed mailer list of people who want the latest technology.

Dell is trash tier right now, hell I'd even trust Newegg over Dell when it comes to 3080 products, and that's embarrassing to say.

https://www.ign.com/articles/dell...-hot-price <- IGN did an article on this already. It was full of $1500 3080 builds and links.

Trust me, these guys aren't shipping. Feel free to reply here with a picture of it actually arriving if you think you can prove me wrong.
Bruh, everyone's getting their shipments.

Hah - I was waiting for this. I didn't feel like scrolling back to find his post to comment myself when mine was delivered yesterday.

I ended up just applying paste on the blue lines and did not replace any thermal pads.

I pulled this from the Alienware case and placed into a PC using a much better airflow designed case (Corsair 5000d Airflow). I feel like with the Alienware case you definitely need to leave the side off since it is so cramped.

Hash went to 98 MH and temperature on memory junction is 88 C now (was 110 C and throttling prior).

Core Clock: -129
Memory Clock: +1142
Power Limit: 80%

Fan is at 80% but I am going to tweak the settings here.
