That's a good point. I've been sprayed once with the good stuff and been exposed many, many times. It sucks.

If you are carrying this I'd suggest getting 2, first one you spray at a cardboard target in the open, then again in an enclosed area. Get a feel for what it does to you and how it sprays.

If you carry this for your safety a little preparation is a small price to pay

Honestly if you haven't been sprayed and you carry these you should be cautious. If the wind blows it back on you, you may become just as incapacitated as your target. I am not suggesting spaying yourself, but just be aware of what could happen and how to effectively use it.

In NJ a criminal has more rights than you. You might be able to get like a single use pepper spray. Like 1/2 ounce worth

Don't know if you're being facetious, but jic- no. You don't want something that only shoots 10ft max. That is unless you'd like to be close to the bear as you piss it off.

The ladies hot pink is able to ship to NJ I just ordered one. However the black pocket size wouldn't ship to NJ

Hmm might cancel my order... people commenting that some product may have leaked onto the actual device. May burn your eyes when you receive it
