The first one I bought in November had almost no backlight bleed, the one I bought last time it was in stock had a horrible large patch of backlight bleed as well as this weird vertical line in part of the display that's only visible if you specifically look for it. The pixels themselves are fine as is the screen, but it seems like whatever is between the two is messed up

I am reading some quality issues as well. How do you like it though? What monitors would you compare it with?

Not an expert on monitors but it's great for office work, also do some light 4k gaming and have no complaints. Really convenient to have a single cable running to my laptop. If there's any issues you'll have to go to HP to get help since tigerdirect doesn't take returns on these, but they were pretty helpful when I contacted and shipped out a replacement overnight (did take about a week for them to get the inventory from one of their channel distributors).

That's good to know. Did HP accept Tigerdirect receipt as the proof of purchase?

Yes they did, the HP reps might try to direct you to contact Tigerdirect for a return if you're within 30 days of purchase, but I just had to show them the particular section of the return policy and it was all good.

With 4k 100% scaling, the difference is HUGE between 27 and 32.
It's like switching from a 13.3 laptop to a 15.6 laptop.
