Nice find. Be sure to select Priority Shipping as it is free but not selected by default. You have to click the edit button under shipping.

EPP is only giving me about $50 off but not bad.

If HP misses their expected delivery date, you can cancel as that is a legitimate reason they accept.

I opted for an additional $50 for 512GB and an additional $20 for the upgraded wifi.

Bought an omen around BF. This will be delayed. Hp cs is a painful wait to get contact with.

Make sure you add your ram now as there are reports that ram added later is underclocked and it can't be fixed through hp's bios.

Otherwise it's a solid deal and a good pc. I ordered one with a 3080, and apparently the card was unbranded evga x3.

If you use tc b for % back, make sure you start with cleared cookies and a fresh cart.

Ditto - I ordered an Omen 30L last Thanksgiving and overall happy with the build, arrived 1 week earlier than expected with a 3080. It does run hot (the case not optimal air flow plus the stock cooler not great) but for this price, it's like buying the GPu and getting the computer for free

Be careful: HP has a 15% restocking fee and will not cancel your order unless you BEG them to, and even then it has to go through a special decision-maker in manufacturing.

Definitely not on the up-and-up relative to other brands.
I bought this about an hour ago but decided to cancel. I successfully had it canceled via chat with CS without an issue.

That could have been because I had just ordered so I'm not sure what would happen if you decide to cancel a week or so from now.

Cancellation is guaranteed within 1 hour. After that, you're at their mercy (according to the contract you sign off on upon purchase). BestBuy, Lenovo, MicroCenter, and Dell have the good return policies, CyberPowerPC has an atrocious one (you'll be out at least $100 if you have a warranty issue UPON purchase because they don't cover warranty shipping/insurance).

Temp issues for me on the 30L is not from the case but from the card build on the 3080 causing vram temps to shoot up.

I read this morning on Reddit that these are unbranded EVGA cards if that matters for anyone.
Is that a good thing? Not sure how good EVGA is compared to others.

Unbranded EVGA or something like that. I will definitely say that HP is not going to put in the top tier model cards for these so....just realize that. Its just going to be a 3070 though so I wouldnt worry too much.

Probably rip the thing apart and replace the thermal pads, or an after-market cooler. I wouldn't recommend voiding the warranty on a new card to do this (at least not in your first year).
