Few comments about the 350 weight limit. The description mentions that this is for lifting the front end only. My 46 in mower weighs 490 but this lift should be fine for lifting the front end.

What would you really use this for if it's only rated for basically the front end? You couldn't use it to change implements (E.g. take a deck off). What do you need to access where lifting up only the front end is advantageous? I have a JD X530 with 54" deck, snowblower, etc - and I've only ever had to lift up the rear of the unit to change the transmission oil; I have lifted up the front before - it's easier to put the mower deck on like that rather than slide it through the side - but this lift wouldn't work for that purpose (winch on a shed truss - it's actually not that heavy I can pick it up by myself but then I'm in the way to slide the deck in).

You are right that this model isn't rated for a garden series tractor like the Deere X500/X700/etc. (Find a heavy duty mow jack) These are handy for deck cleaning, blade changing, etc. It much easier to raise the front that taking the deck off and on. (I usually swap my blades once or twice during a mowing season)

this is great if you have a cement pad around. All I have is packed gravel and I don't think that would be safe.

That's a tractor, not a zero turn.

For a zero turn, $10k is expensive. An average commercial one for residential landscaping cost around $6k for a premium brand.

Yes, definitely. When lifting the dont end only, the true amount of weight on the lift will be less that 350 lbs in many cases.
