Well thats not really helpful. Its not Grainger, its a DeWalt. Grainger is just the seller. As long as you get the item, DeWalt is who you will work with if you have issues with the product. DeWalt has always been great the couple times I have had to work with them.

Moving from Townhome to House. Need a trimmer and edger. So this will give me the edger and the head that is inter-changeable. But upon google searching, I cant seem to find just the string trimmer attachment. Only seeing edger attachment, pole-saw attachment, etc. Only thing I find for the string trimmer is including another head which of course isn't wanted. Am I missing a link to somewhere??

I'm in the same boat. I think these are new enough that they might not be selling the trimmer attachment separately yet. Maybe we can get a trimmer head from another manufacturer since these attachments are supposedly universal? Edger, trimmer, and battery for under $299 would be hard to pass on for me.

I think this is a pretty new offering. They will be popping up more places soon. But you're right I only see the pole saw, hedge trimmer and brush cutting attachments.

I have this but with a string trimmer attachment. It is compatible with Ryobi, Poulan, TrimmerPlus, Greenworks.. etc. The attachment is standard.

I recommend this tool. It is very strong and versatile. I am being tempted with this price but it would have been better if the it wasn't a 'tool only' + 6Ah FV. This tool usually comes with a Fast charger and 9AH FV.

I believe this is a pretty new system. There is a string trimmer package with 9.0/3.0 fv battery for 299 available from a link in this article.
