All in all I'm very glad I got it and didn't listen to all the naysayers.

Hmm idk I felt with them abandoning stadia only games means it's another doomed Google project
Nah they're just going to leave the game making up to people that make games.

That said, the Stadia software worked "alright" once the Chromecast and Controller were connected. I didn't purchase any games, just used the ones they gave for free with the one month subscription that comes included to Stadia+. Things seemed responsive. I played around with the tutorial/warm up in PubG to see how it'd do with a shooter and it seemed fine. I meant to play an online game but never remembered I had the thing and my subscription ended. It's not a terrible product, but not amazing enough for me to give up on my PC/consoles for gaming.
another useless googel project that wont last long
Have you tried it? It's been great for me to playing cyberpunk on my TV without having to pay $400+ for a console or even playing on my phone when I'm taking a break at work.
I believe there is a clause in their terms and agreement that Google will keep their Stadia servers up and let you continue playing the games you own even if they decide to kill the service. Can anyone confirm?

Not sure on confirming the what ifs on if they kill Stadia. Just reaffirming your defense of Stadia. After trying Stadia, I simply won't go back to regular console gaming. It is awesome to play from phone, tablet, TV, etc... I've sat and played Cyberpunk over my wifi from my tablet with maybe two minor 3 second glitches in a 4 hour time frame. It is just awesome to play while my wife watches something dumb on TV 😂
