Hard anodized is solid aluminum where the surface has been hardened for durability. Clad is (typically) a layer of aluminum sandwiched between two layers of stainless steel.
Some clad is cheaper because the sandwich is only on the bottom where the heat is applied - in this set it is all the way up the sides. Just make sure the set you are getting is made in Brazil, not the Chinese version (with glass lids) sold at some large discount stores.
The hard anodized will discolor if you put it in the dishwasher and it is not induction compatible.
I purchased a set of Tramontina about a year ago for my new induction range and like it so much that I just ordered another set for my second kitchen area.
I have a few pieces of All-Clad and prefer the Tramontina. The handles are far more comfortable and the price difference simply cannot be justified - there is no noticable cooking difference.
