MSRP is $60, but this has dropped to $45 a few times this past year (summer, Halloween, autumn, and winter sales). This is the first time it hits $35. Now that it has hit $35, it's likely that it will return to $35 during their next couple of steam-wide sales. So if you can't run the game now and enjoy it, I don't think you need to rush to buy it.

My gpu is really outdated and can't upgrade right now due to shortage. At this price should i buy the game first and hopefully get a new gpu at Q3？

Unless its some physical cart/disc and collectable.

Great price. Amazing game easily worth $50. GET IT.

Also bear in mind there's a lot of modding activity lately with really nice maps in the workshop, that will extend the life of this game.

Has anyone with the proper equipment not purchased this game already? It won all the awards, and it has a great pedigree.

That being said, this game could use a little more beauty to balance the ugly. You will feel immersed & oppressed in a dangerous dystopia. The first half of the game was unpleasant because the reloading mechanics are fiddly & Alyx (your character) is incapable of melee attacks (no crowbar). Once you get larger ammo capacity and other upgrades, then the game (for me) became *psychologically & *practically more manageable. The ending chapter is satisfying enough. You'll feel excited for the next installment.
