The one major-ish drawback is completely ridiculous. I occasionally find it inconvenient that I have to use a hex drill bit on the drill, and that loading it, you have to pull on the collar. The Makita is designed that you put pretty much any driver bit in, and it accepts it. May not lock if the detents aren't on the bit, but it'll go in. Maybe it's a safety thing, but you can't just slip a bit into the Bosch ones, at least this model. So, I keep a black Friday set of Milwaukie drill bits handy.
Pro (absolutely not pro) tip: just get a 6 inch impact bit for the driver. You'll almost never take it off for daily around the house things, and be so happy for the hand guidance on those screws that keep tipping as you try to start them. Pilot holes? Pshaw.
Okay, part of this was in fun, but I seriously love this set. I'll even post goofy pics if I sound too much like a hired goon.
Addendum: the lights. On the Makitas, the lights turn on before the motor, and stay on for a short period after; it's probably in the manual. On the Bosch, you have to pull the trigger just enough to get a high-pitched sound from the motor in to get the lights on, then they turn off immediately. There's a sweet spot, but it's certainly not a "feature". Another reason the long driver is great I guess, since you can take more time to loom from farther away.
Wow. Rant over?

I would really like to find a smaller body driver with the same fine control though as they are quite large bodied even when compared to 20V tools.

The Bosch charger is cheap feeling compared to the Ryobi and makes an annoying hum. It's loud enough that I unplug it when I'm in the garage.
The Bosch 12v ecosystem is nowhere near as expansive as Ryobi's so consider that if you're only getting one.
