Having 1 arm, this type tool is irreplaceable for me...

However, this particular one is horrible.

You want the dual support arm on outside ends if handle.

Better yet... this one is on sale for $23.99 and it's a good one..

I'd recommend with all of them, to bevel the sharp metal corners a bit. They get ya in the bits.

Those are fairly light at 0lbs but awkward to carry because of the size... also because they are invisible

They're not. The $6 plastic orange one works much better for me... have used all day sometimes without issue.

There is no comfortable way to hold the top-grip handles.. it will kill your wrist, and it will let loose if you lower the load off center and a corner catches. Dropped a panel on my foot this way.

Have this exact one from a deal a few years back. Easily worth the price when you need it. I've used it for sheet goods and for 90lb horse stall mats. Picking up another. Thanks!

I've had a different type of panel lifter for many years which grabs the bottom of the sheet. They help, but these look better.

Had to take my Dad to the ER because he got an 2 inch splinter in his thumb when we were carrying plywood bare handed. Reminded me of a toothpick. These would have been nice, but as a reminder WEAR GLOVES!

Had this for a while before using. Thought it'd help me carry Sheetrock in the house, all it did was crack and/or break the tapered edge. Works well for plywood but otherwise kind of useless and not worth the space for me.

Also, it is restricted to lifting sheets with only one side.

I recall this making front-page last year and some guy was asking if he could use it to carry a flat panel TV.

Ill be sheeting a small building soon with the 4x8 LP smart siding. I was thinking this might help me hold the sheets up while screwing the them in place but i think not. Any other product that would be helpful for that? Dont say a friend I've already tried that.

Might be overkill but if it is fairly even ground you could rent a drywall hoist from home depot or another tool rental. I will say the one I own works really well at going up to 11' high. However the lowest it can do is still about 3 ft off the ground. Additionally the wheels on mine aren't good at handling uneven terrain. Could probably get around this with laying plywood on the ground. Not perfectbthough

Had a handyman use something similar to this to lift sheets while he screwed them in. Outside you'd probably just have to put a 2x4 under it not to sink it into the ground.
