I bought this because I rent a storage unit to have less clutter in my house every month and the facility where I rent (Public Storage is the company) makes customers hand in their drivers license every time that they want to check a flatbed cart in and out because they said that customers were taking the flatbed carts and not returning them, this is a huge hassle if you make multiple trips to the storage unit to have to check in/out a flatbed cart and hand in your drivers license every time so i decided to get a portable wagon that I can fold up and keep in my storage unit instead to avoid the check in/out process every time I want to take some stuff to my unit.

I spent hours and looked at several different brands when searching for a wagon, I looked at brands like Beau Jardin (a luxury/high end brand), MacSports (The most recognized brand), Timber Ridge (seems like a camping/outdoor brand), Sekey (unknown brand), Radio Flyer (classic wagon brand that people associate with red wagons), Ozark Trail (Walmart's wagons), and Cabela's (Bass Pro Shop's wagons).

The first thing I usually do when looking at wagons is look at the pictures and see all the 1 star ratings and customer pictures, I had narrowed my search down to either Beau Jardin because their wagons looked like the most sturdy/beefy wagons with all terrain wheels, steel bars, and tough looking appearance but I noticed that all of them are $140+ and I didnt want to spend that much on a wagon and looking at the customer pictures + 1 star reviews some people complained that the wheels break off, the paint came chipped when they received theirs, the handle breaks off when pulling the carts sometimes, etc but some of the 5 star reviewers also posted some great pictures of the Beau Jardin wagons holding loads of weight without breaking.

I then looked at the reviews of the MacSports wagons as well because they were some of the top sellers on Amazon and I discovered that their also one of the most well known brands with years of making products. The MacSports wagons didnt look as beefy as the Beau Jardin wagons and they had the same problem with their products having 1 star reviewers saying that their products and flimsy and 5 star reviewers saying that their built like tanks so I then tried to find out if they have any sort of manufacturers warranty and I was searching for the manufacturers website on Google... I couldnt find any website at all for Beau Jardin but MacSports has macsports.com [macsports.com] which is a benefit in their corner if you ever need support, the MacSports wagons are also widely available at different places where you can return them in person.

No matter what wagon you buy though there were many reviews on Amazon saying that some customers received bootleg versions of the wagons, this is a really big problem that Amazon has with marketplace sellers and I also heard that Amazon also mixes their own inventory with the fulfilled by Amazon inventory as well so even if you order directly from Amazon you might get a bootleg that made its way into their inventory somehow.

In the end I went with the MacSports wagon over the others because of brand recognition, the manufacturer actually has a website, its widely available, most of the reviews are 4-5 star reviews, it was less expensive than the Beau Jardin wagons, and its the only wagon that I saw that is the size of a couch (look at the Amazon reviewer pictures).
Costco has one that comes with a net included as well, 300lb weight limit, and all terrain wheels but its only $8 lower than this Extended wagon and its only standard size: https://www.costco.com/mac-sports...18869.html
i wont recommend.
the handle holding system is a joke.after couple of uses , the spring system stops holding the handle and handle keeps falling.Company knows about it .Cheaply made handle locking system.

i have also owned Mac Sports Folding Wagon with Cargo Net https://www.costco.com/mac-sports...18869.html

Issues:
1) front two tires are very close to each other. this causes the wagon to disbalance specially when turning.also as the tires are big , they dont turn easily.
2)handle holding/locking system is a big fail.

cool, looks much more versatile than the standard wagon lengths! And it's priced not too bad.

Only trade off I can note compared to the typical macsport sold at costco is the price, sometimes on sale for $50 or $60 versus this at $88, and supported weight limit of 300lbs versus this at 150lbs.

Price difference can be overlooked when getting that extra length, and weight limit is not that important i suppose. I don't ever intend to haul 150lbs of "stuff" in these travel wagons, let alone 300lbs.

My only wish was there was an attachment for a canopy or netting.

appreciate the detailed response!

The thing with most products is that you'll always get reviews on both sides of the spectrum. Hard to really know whether some are genuine or a fluke.

The one thing you left out is the best part, which is Costco. Any genuine or issues/concerns are generally handled with little problems when it comes to Costco, so I think that makes the decision to give it a shot easier.

Also, in regards to your suggestion about MacSports other wagon at Costco, I was mainly comparing the two in my initial comment. I'm willing to make the trade off of the 150lbs vs 300lbs for the extended wagon. I just made a silly comment, wishing the net or canopy would be included.

Good for people from nyc or California. They usually go around with small wagon for laundry or grocery. Be sure to watch out for homeless ppl. They really like it .

Do you find it very hard to turn when weight is increase? I think because the turning wheel doesn't have any barring. With the increase weight, the friction increase making the wheel much harder to rotate.

These look like they would come in handy for going to the lake fishing. I'm just not sure how it'd do if I had to pull it through the beach sand since some parts I go to will have it. Anyone know how well any of these wagons work when pulling it through sand?

Those tiny wheels won't be any good. Only on hard surface.

Glad to help! hug yeah thats a good point Costco is usually pretty helpful if you need to return anything or have any concerns about a product, in some cases they have even emailed me when there are recalls on products to return the products to the store for a full refund even if they have already been used.

Probably better to go with one that has the all terrain wheels, if you have a Dick's Sporting Good's around where you live they have this one that has all terrain wheels and a folding table: https://www.dickssportinggoods.co...gnwthtbrec

The catch is that its $99.99 without any coupons but if you subscribe to their text alerts they text you a 20% off coupon making it $79.99 but I havent done that because I dont want more spam via text alerts.

They sell that one in Dick's Sporting Goods and Amazon (for a higher price on Amazon and higher risk of getting a bootleg).

Awesome! if you have a Costco that sells them near you its always better to pick up in store and see the condition in person so that you get one that isnt banged up during shipping. Sadly I called Costco before I purchased the extended version to ask if any Costco around me had any in stock and they said that the extended version was online only Frown thats pretty cool that you were able to get the all terrain one for $69.99 though instead of the $79.99 on their website.
