You can actually change the color. Mine came with Alienware control software installed. The LED can change to a wide variety of colors and pulsating or solid patterns, etc. Pretty cool.

It can be either blue or red.

May be a dumb question - I do own a Mac mini M1, is this thing better than that ?

For graphics, yes. For CPU, no. M1 is better at productivity, especially for apps optimized on the new apple chip.

I'm thinking of taking the card out of this to out in my better PC. How much do you guys think this would flip for? I know the F series doesn't have integrated graphics, so I'm wondering if that would be a big deal.
ebay has the 1650S selling for about $300, You could probably clear $240 after fees and shipping.

I think 300 max is what you can hope for maybe a few bucks more or less
That's not bad. Looks like 600 out the door I have 175 in rewards, so that puts it at just over 400. If I could sell it for 300, that's a $120 dollar card or so. Seems logical, right?

It's definitely not bad if you need the card asap. I know we don't have a time machine for the 1660 TI deal for 720 a few days ago that would have been easier too flip as well as a better card since the CPI had built in video.

Price is $545.00; if you decline the $4.99 monthly subscription offer
I can't get the price below 549.99 even when I decline monthly offer.

How does this work?

Case has room for 1 3.5" and 2 2.5". Get a high capacity external spinning drive and shuck that to store your media. Get a low capacity SSD and set that as your transcode drive. Keep your metadata on your boot drive (NVME).

I second this question. I'm looking for my gaming fiancé and his aging computer.
Absolutely. The benchmark I see for this GPU put it on the same level (actually a bit above) of the GTX 970, which can crush Apex Legends. Especially considering that a PS4 PRO doesn't come close to this machine, and it runs Apex at or near 60 FPS.

They charge your card right away.

PSU calculator have my use case power draw at 356W.
Every website says 450min recommended. You could run it on a 300w and depending on many factors it will be fine most of the time. But it's not recommended.

Also the PSU calculators are very off from each other. Newegg will say it's 288w while some other sites say 356w and some say 400+. As far as I know the 360W published is the MAX of the power supply and you can't actually draw 360W. But YMMV.. good luck

Yea I saw that. Almost pulled the trigeer but it seemed like it would resell for about the same amount. So I was actually waiting for this one to pop up. Bench mark puts the 1660 TI about 30% better than this, it seems?
