Do not buy Aer on Switch. It runs far worse than a game with such simple graphics should, probably due to bad optimization. It can be bought for the same price on PC so get it there instead
I will always take time to tell people to buy Yoku's Island Express. One of my top games for switch.
I strongly recommend the two Guacamelee games if you like Metroidvania games.
Tight platforming and a focus on melee combat. Power upgrades give you access to new areas by adding new melee moves (dashes and jump mechanics).

I recommend checking out both of the Yooka-Laylee games. Impossible lair is a great adventure platformer with lots of moments akin to classic DK Country games. The original Yooka-Laylee has similarities to Banjo-Kazooie, which isn't super surprising considering it's a lot of the same designers.

Anyone play Ashen? If so, how is it in general or on the Switch. I could use another Souls fix but have already played Remastered, Hollow Knight, Blasphemous, and Salt & Sanctuary.

It doesn't seem that promising based on reviews, 7.1 out of 10. For switch games, I use dekudeals.com since it shows the price history and also displays the Metacritic critic and user/gamer score.
Yoku and Guacamelees are great. If you're into Metroidvanias, they are definitely worth your time and money. Yoku is pinball and exploration focused, and the Guacamellees are more combat focused.

I had actually never heard of that one, watched a review and thought it looked fun! Picking that one up for sure! Thanks for the recommendation!

That said, Impossible Layer is surprisingly good. Polished, smooth 60fps, lots of TLC put into the game.

Fun game!
100% agree 👍
Absolutely! It is simply the greatest pinball machine ever created.
