For those wondering the difference: https://www.notebookcheck.net/Del...975.0.html

Dell XPS 13's are solid little machines, but I'm holding out for some 16:10 deals to hit, which is way more important than the folks who yammer on about 10th vs 11th gen.

I am not sure I said anywhere it was "the latest model".

"This model is from the newest generation XPS family of laptops."

I think that's where people have the impression that you're suggesting that this is the latest / newest model.

Right, which confirms that those people struggle with reading comprehension. Semantics aside though, this model does indeed happen to be the latest model (as quoted from here [notebookcheck.net]). Go figure.

Please stop misleading people with your horse$h!t and language semantics.
In the US this laptop is not the latest and greatest however you want to slice and dice it.

Although this laptop has the latest generation processor it lacks the primary NEW feature of the latest generation of XPS 13 which is the taller aspect ratio screens depicted by either FHD+ or UHD+.

At best if you really want to call this the "latest generation", you should call out in BOLD text that this is the latest from the "budget" line of XPS targeted for outside US market.
