In a nutshell: if you can wait for the 6800u to go back to $199 @Costco, do that. Or if you can wait for the A8 to be $249 also at Costco, also better (will probably happen sooner than the 6800u as it just went back to regular price a month ago.)
But beyond that, it's not awful for $199.
$199 is kinda my own personal mental limit for a bidet and I own a 6800, but would like one or two more for the house... I just missed the last 6800u sale (misread the expiration by a day I guess because I went to buy it and it had ended.)
So I've considered grabbing one of these too. But I'll probably hold out for a 6800u.
Same here legs fell asleep too quick...Get a squatty potty, helps you poop easier, legs dont fall asleep so fast, good elbow on legs phone position,
better position for deep brown star cleaning..
(Typed from bidet with squatty potty.)
I have owned this exact model for a year. I have had zero issues and it has worked very well.
I did a fair amount of research and I think it's a great value at $199. You really won't find anything that has more features without spending at least double this amount.
Heated seat (adjustable), heated water (adjustable), heated dryer (adjustable), water pressure (adjustable) , massage function, night light, etc...

What a mess of a website, I sign in and it says account not in use please register new one. I register new one and it says it already exists. Nice deal OP but pfff, guess I will take my money elsewhere. Would even rather spend more to avoid the headaches.
Got one last time when vipoutlet had it on sale on eBay at $130, it's well worth the money, not as good as the Toto we have in master bedroom but definitely recommend for under $200. For anyone asking about power outlet, yes you can use an extension as long as the outlet you are connecting to is a GFCI outlet, you are fine. Even in the instructions says you can use an extension.
As someone who has sorta been considering bidets... Is this a decent one? It heats the water internally, which was the #1 feature that I figured I should be looking for.
I have had this one for two years and have purchase different brands for family members. I like this the best. The water temps are just right and has good amount of pressure adjustment. Heated seats are great during winter season as well. $200 seems to be the normal sale price. I have yet to see it go below at sam's club or anythere else. Hope this helps.
Power outlets aren't available right next to the toilet. They're usually on the opposite side of of the bathroom where the toilet is so you better do some research of your bathroom before buying.

here was my order, I had a 25% discount or something stupid.
To those who messaged, the bidet is gone. and to those who thought I was a scammer, get outta here established slickdealers should be able to trust one another.
but she's gone, bidet brondell swash 1400 with 4 years remaining of warranty for 150. I paid 100 for the 5 year warranty by itself lol.
WITH ANY bidet that is powered, you need to install (15 amp will work, but just install a 20 amp) dedicated gfci outlet. I used a extension cord across sink with mine, to see if I wanted to spend the $ for a dedicated outlet, and it was worth it. but don't do it long term, just as a trial to test the water. (ha ha ah)
GFCI is required in bathrooms, it has a reset button switch.

Any idea when they might go on sale? Even ball park date estimate?

I have the A7 and the 6800u. My personal preference is the A7. The 6800u has more features, but the A7 has noticeably better pressure.
For me, I dislike the wireless remote control of the 6800u. If I sit down, and then turn on the light, I have about a 30% chance my overhead light triggers the sensor. Plus, for my wash preferences, I have to use both sides of the remote. The preferences don't save all of my preferred settings.
Bottom line. I have both. I would estimate the pressure on the A7 is abou 20-25% higher than on the 6800u. The profile of both installed is about the same.
If I had to do it over again, I would have two A7s instead of 1 of each.
Most wet areas are required to have them by code. Usually they have the reset buttons, but regular outlets can be "downstream" of a GFCI and still be protected. They usually have a sticker.
Where I live, the electricians do dumb stuff like wiring all bathrooms in the house off of 1 GFCI circuit. If the GFCI trips in one bathroom, all bathrooms go offline. All so the contractors can pinch a few pennies on wiring and outlets. Maddening.

The A8 goes on sale on 4-30 for $250 at Costco. Flyer went out today.
I think this is a normal price... I know I paid this a year or two ago. Its fantastic. Had to get the sams membership but then you get cheap yogurt at the store!
