Don't listen to the other people who are commenting and don't even own the phone. Take it from me - I've had it since launch. I'll try to be as objective as possible.

The way you want to look at it is, don't think of it as a flagship. Think of this as a mid-range to upper mid-range phone. For ~$400, you get a lot of phone for not a lot of money. It also uses a lot of the latest tech/trends if you're into that. Some people suffered from the green tint. I was worried about mine when I got it, but I've never had this problem. I also got one for my mother, who also has not had any problems with it. There are no issues with the curved display that I've encountered so far. Like someone else mentioned, the only inconvenience is that this phone is very tall. It will slip out of your pocket more than you'd like. But I can also say that even though I've dropped it many times (not very high, maybe a few feet from the ground), it has not failed, nor has it cracked. I wish they stuck with a traditional fingerprint reader - the in-screen fingerprint reader can be quite slow sometimes.

I wish that Motorola would stand behind their products and offer more updates and a clear update schedule. I think this is the biggest drawback, especially if you don't tinker with phones and just leave it stock. However, if you like to root and install custom roms, this phone has an official lineageOS 17.1, which will hopefully keep the phone relatively up-to-date as the years go by. Related to the software, I have T-Mobile, which has stand-alone 5g. Although this phone supports 5g, it currently does not support SA 5G. I believe this phone is capable of it, but just needs to be unlocked from the software side, which like I said, is lacking.

So in summary - overall a fantastic phone and it's great to use, although there are a few inconveniences that can easily be overlooked. However, I worry about limited updates from Motorola

1. This is not a flagship level phone that costs $1,000 or more. The specs are very respectable for this price point.

2. Judging by the TU on the post and many of the comments, I'd say lots of people don't agree with your comment.

3. I don't know the OP personally but I'd say like most of us here, there's a 99% they didn't get anything in return for sharing this deal. Saying that someone should be ashamed of themselves for posting is not only exaggerated but just plain stupid.

4. If you hate this phone so much, why are you even here?

5. Instead of talking shit, why don't you go post a deal for a brand new unlocked phone from a reputable brand at this price that has better specs?

Not really. I think the flagship is Moto Razr but it's way too expensive. Actually, there is Moto Edge+ with higher configuration but it's for Verizon only,.
I would buy this one if my current Moto Z2 Force no longer worked well.

I was looking to purchase this phone, but the reviews about the screen are very worrisome. Does anyone know if this has been fixed? It appears to be a hardware issue.

They addressed the issue last fall. Earlier hw revisions from spring or summer 2020 are vulnerable to heavy tint and other screen defects.

It took a few RMAs to finally get a newer model. I still have this phone as my main, but use lineage 18 and not stock.

Anyone know if this will work on ATT after they shut down 3g? I can't find the exact model on the Amazon page.

Per the Motorola website, these are the 4G LTE Bands they support:

4G: LTE band 1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/13/17/20/25/26/38/39/40/41/41(HPUE)/66/71

AT&T
Compatible | supports 4G, VoLTE

Check the dimensions, this is very tall, doesn't fit comfortably in my pocket (don't know about yours) just like the LG Velvet.

Doesn't this phone have some kind of virtual "bumper" buttons for gaming or am I thinking of something else?

Would be curious to know how they function during actual usage if that's the correct phone.

According to a review I watched last night, yes.

But does ATT allow the phone on the network after 2021? Don't know what the model number is so I can't cross check. The Amazon listing says it's the XT2063. ATT says it has to be the XT2063-2 to work on their network.

That is why NiteIze makes some very good quality pouch cases with belt clips. I've been using their products now for quite a few years.

Also if this & the LG Velvet/V60 with 6.8 screens are too large for pockets, then what do Samsung Note 20 or S20 Ultra owners do with the 6.9 inch screens do then?

Personally I like my LG V60 screen & after using it for a few months now it makes my wife's One Plus 8 seem like its too tiny of a phone. But I guess to each their own tho.
