That's for dam sure Smilie For 99% of people, the 10-core 10850K for $370 (or just $320 if you live near a Microcenter) is a no brainer deal vs. the 8-core 11900K for $550. I'm glad last Christmas I snagged my 10850K / ASUS ROG Z490-E motherboard combo for a little over $600 from Newegg.

The only people buying the 11900K that I can think of are those who really need PCIe 4 SSDs and extreme overclockers.

Glad I decided to skip this 11th gen and grab the CPU/mobo combo deal that included this CPU. It's a great CPU, and definitely better than the 11th generation.

This got down to $338 at BH for a day or so and thats the lowest I've seen available for everyone but ya $320 for Microcenter people which is a small percentage of America. This will be better value by a good bit compared to the new 11th gen intel stuff. I'd recommend people wait til Alder lake stuff later this year and Zen 4 stuff is out. Those should be some solid parts and its not far away since it's already April.
