Days Gone was probably the biggest surprise game for me of the PS4 "era". The trailers and even the description/walkthroughs of the game by the game studio did not give me any interest at all. I was bored in 2020 and feeling apocalyptic, and it was on really cheap sale, so I bought it on a whim. Turned out to be one of my probably five favorite PS4 games. Really engaging story and characters to me, and the Horde mechanic is super fun and strategic to deal with. I'm glad I gave it a shot, and really glad I didn't miss out.

But yeah it's already free if you have a PS5.

FYI Days Gone is already in the PS+ collection. I know millions still don't have a pS5, seems like a pS4 only game at least in my eyes.

I was on the fence about days gone when it was like $10-$15. But I guess now I have no excuse. Def excited to give it a shot and see if it is what I was hoping

I try it on the ps5 for 60fps. I remember how boring i was last time I played it and deleted it 5 minutes later. I did have fun for a while. A year ago

Maybe. Gameplay & storyline are bigger factors for immersion than gfx for me, but to each their own. And for those that can look past my opinion's shortcomings....congrats, and enjoy!!! ๐Ÿ™‚

I think u reply to the wrong person, I didn't say anything about graphics. I was bored with the story telling and main quest to side storys.

Days Gone was surprisingly good. I didn't play it when it launched, because it was supposedly a total mess, but I got it quite a while later, after they patched it up, and it was a blast.

You keep it as long as you have PS+ active. You don't have to download it immediately. Just add it to your library, and it will be there whenever you decide to download it (unless you cancel PS+)

PS5 has complete backwards compatibility with the PS4, and runs the games better. It's a _much_ better investment to just wait and get a PS5. You're looking at a $100 difference at retail for a disc PS5. If you don't care about discs, the PS5 costs the same as a new PS4 Pro but runs a lot better. No brainer.

Just an FYI that even if you cancel PS+ all your free PS+ games that you have added to your account will still be there if you ever decide to reactivate PS+ in the future.
