Or, get a weighted socket [amazon.com] and use a regular impact wrench on that pesky crank bolt.

The high torque is great but some people need to understand its HIGH torque. It'll sheer bolts clean off and keep on trucking. If you are working with heavy equipment then the high torque is a no brainer. Automotive? I think you'd be better off with the mid torque. I've put down lug nuts so tight you can't even break them lose without a cheater bar. The thing is insanely powerful.

Very close to the Buy More Save More price of $209 from Home Depot.

Can also hack the 2767-22 kit with two 5.0 batteries to $337.

I'm getting a new job and have to take my tools. Debating whether to just get the mid torque or getting both. Don't have anything in the M18 line, only M12 stubby. Any suggestions. Will be working on golf carts all the way to trains. I already have 1/2 air impact. If you guys also have any hacks from HD I would appreciate it.

Thanks. I have had good results with Toolup, better than random eBay resellers. I just bought one. Was looking for a slicker deal, but this is pretty much as good as it gets until there's a new gen.

I need this to handle the Honda 3.5 crank pulley I need to remove to do water pump and timing belt.

High torque + mid torque combos. Both the 1/2in and 3/8in mid torque options hackable to $498 using battery or hammer as free tool.

Get the high torque, first. Better to have a bigger tool than one that's too small (twss)

Nah this is perfect. Most car places use air tool and they torque at 120 lbs. this is perfect to get it out.
