Oven safe up to 450°. Meh.
Not the highest of temp, but then again I can't recall a recipe ever that requires a higher temperature in the oven that you would use an enameled pot over a true cast iron pot. You are certainly not trying to sear with an enameled pot so does it really matter? Just being real.
Great price for a 2-set. I'd be all over it. But I already have a 5.5-qt round Lodge and a 7-qt oval Staub. The Lodge is okay, tends to stain. The Staub is amazing. I'd expect the Tramotina should in the same category as the Lodge, maybe a little better.
the email i have says that it's going to be $45. do we have confirmation that the $40 price is real and not a typo?
The email I received gave the price as $45, I've seen nothing to indicate the price will be lower.
As far as quality goes - if you can manage not dropping or banging them together, the enamel on these (heavy) pans will last a good many years but, it's unlikely you'll be passing then on to your children like a Staub or Le Creuset. Plus there is always a chance you will get a dud. Just hope it happens within the return window!

likely lower price in store . i've noticed that with costco stuff online sometimes. the prices are a bit higher online, but lower in store for same item. i bought a floodlight for $30 in store, but it was $40 online at costco site. you should go to the store and see for yourself to be sure.
THANK YOU OP, Appreciate the Heads Up.........Just put order in, Friday Morning April 2 @ 0200 ( 2 AM ). Sale price $44.99 + $3.99 Shipping + $2.74 Tax = $51.72 Shipped To House
SMOKIN DEAL !!!!!!!!! Thanks Again

The email specifically states that the prices shown are for in-warehouse prices. It's $45 as others have stated
Why would anyone compare this to Staub and Le Crueset? I have had the Lodge and Cuisinart versions for years and they have never failed. I have deep fried in them as well as slow cooked all day red sauces in the oven after searing the meat on stove top. I can buy at least 3 of mine and still be ahead.of the game. That.being said, I am not advocating this brand as I have not researched them.

I got the same email. The email from Costco clearly says the offer is "$44.99 After $25 OFF" and NOT $39.99 as posted by the OP.

There are only two places left that enamel cast iron and the other in Europe is much more expensive. Even enameled Lodge is manufactured in China.
