Great price, but I worry about low end VA they always have ghosting. Plus 1 MPRT is different then 1 GTG so this might not be good for fps. Also, curved on 24 inch?

Hmm. I got the 144hz version of this a bit over a year ago for $120-ish (24G1OA , maybe it was 2 years, I honestly forget). It's decent. Some of the different pre-sets built into the monitor make text blurry, almost like sharpness is maxed out, though. I think I even noticed it on the gaming pre-set. Other than that, its great. 144hz to 165hz isn't worth it for me, but if you're still under 100hz, and don't mind what else the monitor offers (curved, 1080p, 24")--I'd say it's a go.

edit: Looks like it's $188.99 for 165hz and $144.99 for the 144hz, OP might have them mixed up! If that's the case neither of those is hot, they've been cheaper.
