Assuming you are unfamiliar with the candy and not being sarcastic, there is no raw egg in the product so you don't need to worry about getting sick.

These were my favorite candies from when I was a kid and they're one of those memories I'm worried to try again and find out they're actually horrible haha.

I don't think it's fair to say they are a huge disappointment; you remembered them incorrectly.

Also, were you expecting cookie dough coated in chocolate to not be sweet?

For those wanting to try them without buying a 12 pack, these are often sold individually at the store Five Below along with more rare candy. I also would be cautious about buying food from Amazon since my experiences have always been that the food is near the expiration date.
