You give them all of your money up front. Then you have to go to the store and buy stamps and envelopes. When you get the product in the mail, you get scissors and cut out part of the box (the part that means you can't return the product to the original vendor if something is wrong with the product within the return window). Then you download the rebate instructions, and track down all the transaction info it specifies (don't make ANY mistakes or you will not receive the rebate). Then you put it all in the envelope and mail it. Then you wait between a month and a year to find out if they have decided to send you a rebate or not.

Great case by the way. I just bought the airflow white version via Amazon. I decided not to use the mail in rebate to get the non-airflow version cheaper via Newegg.

Why is a mail in rebate?

I've been watching too many movies.

It totally doesn't have to be this way. I bought a case of PBR this past winter and had the $3 rebate in my account within like 2 weeks. Texted a photo of the receipt to a number, they texted back and asked if Venmo was OK. I replied "yup", gave them the info and I had my $3 roughly a week later.

Companies purposefully make it hard for you to redeem the rebates because that way they have to pay out less money.

I don't know why these case deals get posted. So far every one of them pales compared to some normal case prices. I did a lot of shopping recently, and look hard enough and you'll find cases under 50 dollars that look nice from real names that have 3 or more preinstalled 120mm fans. Without all this other stuff to lower the price.
They're paying good money to have deals posted here on SD

When it's in stock, you can order the airflow front panel for $15 with shipping from corsair. You could save $20, if you get the rebate, by buying this version and replacing the front panel. Of course the panel is not in stock on corsair.com, and the mail-in-rebate isn't guaranteed, and I don't like Newegg's return policy, so I bought the airflow version for $90 from Amazon
Does the normal front have the dust filter behind it? I have a friend with a cnc, and if he declines.. there's only my drill and an hour of time separating me from the airflow version

Yeah, they all have the fine mesh filter behind the front panel. Search "gamers nexus 4000d" for an in depth analysis of the case if you want.

This is a major upgrade over my previous case, the Corsair Spec-01, purchased back in late 2015.

And if you're like me and you do everything right, you usually forget to use the funds in time.

There is a reason those cases are so cheap.

Amazing budget deal on a good brand.

I say go for it. If ATX is your jam

If you're spending $600+ on a new computer build the $20 Newegg plus or whatever it's called now for 3 months trial is a must.
Pretty sure Premier died in 2019.
