That's a nice looking watch. I ordered the 35 dollar one the other day but I'm thinking about getting this and returning that one...

I may have to read up on this watch, I'm wondering what the conditions are for the 24 day battery life.

47mm sounds huge though lol I recently tried on a 46mm GW1 and it looked comical on my wrist. The 45mm GW3 looks much better, though IMO still on the large side, but my wife said she likes the way it looks and she also thought I should pass on the GW1 due to the size. The GW1 is a bit chunkier so it adds to the larger appearance

If you have huge wrists I'd imagine that wouldn't be an issue since many of the G-Shock watches, as just one example, are much bigger than 47mm.

A 24 day battery life would be very impressive considering GW3 gets 3 days.

Seems similar to the 46mm samsung galaxy watch that went on sale a little while back for $70.

the samsung galaxy watch has a 3 day battery life though.

I think the 24 HR battery life would be for the very basic functionality. If you want continuous HR monitoring then the battery life would be significantly reduced. Some people may change frequency to every 5 mins or so. I like the Fitbit and it measures the HR continuously. The biggest factor I'm looking for in my health is not the steps but the resting heart rate.

Thinking about getting my elderly dad something like his current apple watch series 4, because it's acting up and calling SOS and there wasn't a fall. Does this have fall detection? If so, what's the false alarm rate been in your experience?

Did anyone notice 3 months warranty only on this product? Is this new or refurbished? Thanks!

Apple Watch 6 is on sale. Since it's red he'd be able to find it too.

I would trust apple more than this device. I know samsung has fall detection on their watches. There is a recalibrate option on apple watches, but I have no idea if that would help.
