I'd assume there will be a lot of deals on overstock since so many people don't think they need to wear masks after getting vaccinated...or never did to begin with.

It is not counterfeit. International Assessment Result (on CDC's website) shows that masks from this manufacturer (Chengde Technology) passed KN95 standard (filter at least 95%). Plus, the manufacturer is still on FDA's EUA list.
The problem is the International Assessment Result (https://www.cdc.gov/niosh/npptl/r...sults.html) was used in some of the sellers' listing.
