Much cheaper than Amazon. 16 oz x 2 for 42.xx on Amazon. This is 29.99 for 24oz x 2. Also the advanced version has more of the anti hair loss ingredients than the original.

I have seen buy 2 get 1 free deals for this product. But for those that don't want to spend 80+ to get a deal, this seems like a steal!

How helpful is this stuff when you suffer from male pattern baldness?

I feel like this stuff is meant for unhealthy hair rather then genetically going bald hair? But willing to try if anyone else with MPB can chime in.

im currently on minoxidil and finasteride

i think it helps but not much. I got a hair transplant which helped significantly in combination with finasteride and rogaine

Use a Ketoconazole 2% shampoo. Get the 2%. I've been using it for years and swear by it. It drastically stopped the shedding.

As you said (and they actually put it right on the bottle), it's targeted at unhealthy hair by being "infused with vitamins and botanicals to help reduce hair thinning due to breakage"

But that said, people have loved this shampoo forever because it used to claim it contained a "specially selected" blend of 12 DHT blocking ingredients.

So, it may help prevent any future hair loss, but I'm guessing they had to remove that claim due to varied results and legal stuff.

Either way, I picked it up at Costco last time I saw it cause I like the argan oil and it's a nice shampoo. I think my hair is healthier? I like the ingredients anyway, and the company claims to be very eco conscious so that's nice.

Where did you come up with that as a solution for thinning hair? I looked it up and Ketoconazole is an anti fungal, also in Nizoral shampoo for anti dandruff. I can't find any shampoo with that ingredient that makes any claim it helps with hair loss.

I used this shampoo (not conditioner) it gave me nothing but worst dandruff, I have dandruff and it just accelerate it badly.
