Yes it is.

This is a good deal.

I would recommend calling around locally if you need a large quantity.

My wife called a farm up the road from us and they charge $20yd for garden soil (not screened) And $30/yd for screened soil (larger items like mulch are sifted out).

I had good luck last year planting grass seed using screened soil.

The miracle grow comes out to $72 / yd vs $30 if I buy locally. I'm so close they waive the delivery, but if you have a pickup it may work for some. (Farm also doesn't charge me tax 🤫)

Again, this is a good deal, but I would call around if you need more that 10 bags or so. I'm sure location matters, Im in NJ and happen to be close to a lot of farm.

I will add the convenience of transporting bags vs having to shovel into a cart and dump should not be ignored. Very easy to toss a bag into the garden bed, cut open and dump.
Got any deals on a time machine?
Sigh. When did I get so old? Scrolling through 5 pages worth of comments to try and figure out if SOIL is a good deal and what I need to rehab my lawn. Is this the type of adulting I've been reduced to? 🤷

Sorry for off topic but I was looking for Mexican guava tree . Any recommendation please? Is it better idea to go from seeds or just buy a plant?
Starting from seed is much cheaper but it will be years before you see fruit. Buy a plant or better yet, graft from an existing tree if you know someone who has one already.

Shows potting soil on the Costco ad ,
I'm hoping garden soil be on sale.

Last year I bought the Miracle-grow potting soil from Costco (12 bags) and one of the bags was a Termite breeding ground.
Hundreds of Termites.

Sorry, misled a little thinking that most people grow gardens in boxes or planters and could use potting soil.

Probably not going to find organic "garden soil" on sale considering the contents of old wood chips, sand and etc. But YMMV.

I'm in the Los Angeles area and buy my "premium" potting mix from a place that specializes in selling different types of soil. A cubic yard (27 cubic feet) is $30. I then add perlite, worm castings and sphagnum moss to improve drainage, nutrition and water retention. I've used the same soil mixture for years with very good results.

That's funny. We're literally on opposite ends of the country (NJ vs CA) and have the same going rate for the screened soil.

Reads like you are growing what is now legal in CA. Something that grows like a weed!

Yep, guess they just wanted to save ink and not print 5 for 9.90 on the signs.

I kinda underestimated this weight. It's around 35 lbs I think per bag. Guess sjust depends if it's sunny or rained on.
