To uninstall many junk apps preloaded by Samsung:
- Download, install, and launch the Minimal ADB and Fast Boot tool on your PC.
- Download, install, and launch the App Inspector app on the phone.
- On your phone, go to Settings and tap on About Phone. Find the Build Number and tap on it 7 times to enable Developer Options.
- Enter Developer Options and enable USB Debugging.
- Connect the phone to the PC via the supplied USB cable.
- Change to "file transfer (MTP)" mode at the phone.
- You will see a prompt on your phone asking you to authorize a connection with the computer. Grant it.
- Enter the command "adb devices" (no ") at the command prompt (PC screen).
- Enter the command "adb shell" if you see the serial number of the phone displayed. If not, then remove/reconnect the USB cable, grant connection, and retype the "adb devices" command.
- Enter pm uninstall -k --user 0 <name of package> for the app that you want to uninstall as displayed in App Inspector.
For Example, to remove youtube: pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.youtube
To restore youtube: cmd package install-existing com.google.android.youtube

Hopefully costco would give the cash deal. I hate the 24 months bill credit. Anybody know if my iPhone 11 has couple months to go, it would lose the bill credit if I pay it off early

I have a bag of ancient phones from the early 2000s. No idea if any will charge or turn in but should be fun to try.

Is this offer good for SELECT CHOICE plan? currently paying $95 (after taxes and fees) for 3 lines (1-voice only, 2 - voice with data)?
if we get free data upgrade, should i just drop the $10/line/month for the 2 lines with internet?

This reads like 6/6s/6+/6s+ also get half off the 12.

Seems like it. Will know more once the promo pages actually go up
Hrm.... so I can trade in a 6 and possibly get half off the 12 (assuming that is what the deal really is) AND get the line upgraded to unlimited data for free (does this work on shared plans?) or I can try to do the free 12 upgrade by trading in an 8

Interesting how terms for trade in list "working condition", meaning iPhones with back glass cracks may work?

Is that max 4 per acct for this deal, or max 4 EIP lines per account at any one time?

I have 3 lines of my 9 lines on EIP now. Can I do 4 more via this deal?
It's four for this deal, irrespective of how many other EIP's are on the account (assuming you have lines with out EIP's or pay off those EIP's). I've seen some of the lesser appealing deals notate "Max 12/account" such as:

Promo Code: T493
Start Date: April 2, 2021
Credit: up to $20.83/mo. for 24 months

Tax on pre-credit price due at sale. Limited-time offer; subject to change. Qualifying credit, service, & trade-in (Samsung Galaxy A71, S20 128GB, S20 FE, S10 series, S9 series, S8 series, Note 20 128GB, Note 10 series, Note 9 series, Note 8 series; Apple iPhone 11, iPhone X series, iPhone XS series, iPhone XR, iPhone 8 series, iPhone SE 2; Google Pixel 4A, Pixel 4 XL, Pixel 3A XL, Pixel 3 XL, Pixel 3; OnePlus 8 5G, 8T+ 5G, 7T Pro, 7 Pro, 7T, 7; LG V60, V50, G8) required. $10 SIM card, and, in stores & on customer service calls, $20 assisted or upgrade support charge may be required. If you cancel your line before receiving 24 bill credits, you may owe up to the full value of your device (e.g. $799.99 – Samsung Galaxy S21 5G 128GB / $849.99 – Samsung Galaxy S21 5G 256GB / $999.99 - Samsung Galaxy S21+ 5G 128GB / $1049.99 - Samsung Galaxy S21+ 5G 256GB / $1199.99 - Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G 128GB / $1249.99 -Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G 256GB / $1379.99 - Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G 512GB); if canceling your account, you can contact us first to instead make discounted monthly balance payments. Up to $500 via trade-in credit and bill credits; must be active and in good standing to receive credits; allow 2 bill cycles. Max 12/account. May not be combinable with some offers or discounts.

Purchase a new Samsung Galaxy S21 5G, Galaxy S21+ 5G, or Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G, using T-Mobile's Equipment Installment Plan (EIP) and trade in a qualifying device to save up to $500 via 24 monthly bill credits.

Phones are throwaway disposable items, cause every 2 years, a new one comes out that makes your new phone turn into an undesirable turd that lost half of its value. They are designed to fail and not last.

That's how they make their money. Apple literally was caught slowing down phones just to make people buy new phones LMAO

Literally, they are like cars. Only rich people or complete morons buy new cars.

Unlike a stupid phone though, a new or barely used car can last you like 15 years if not more.

You can't afford to spend $1000 every 2 years on a phone unless you're rich otherwise you'll be broke your whole life

but that's how they get you, with illusions and tactics, they put the cost of the phones into your plan and eases up the pain and wallet, out of sight out of mind, without realizing, you're losing thousands over the years. You still paid for those expensive phones, T mobiles didn't give you shit for free lol

It's an illusion, basically like a credit card. Any retard can pay for expensive stuff with a credit card. If you pay with cash or debit, that's when you will feel the pain.

They delay the pain and hide it in your plan, so you're in delusion, thinking you're okay and your financial life is fine lmao one day you'll wake up and see a broke bastard staring at you in the mirror
You must be new here. The angle to play is the trade in value. I've traded phones in every year, and sometimes multiple times if you can work it to my advantage. For example, Visible had a deal in Feb to port in a line, and get an unlocked iPhone 12 with a $150 gift card & Beats pro headphone. I got a 12 and was about to sell my 11, which if done right, would have cost me about $150 to trade up. Now with this deal, I can give tmobile my iPhone 11, get another 12, sell that brand new one on CL and magically get my overall cost to upgrade from an 11 to 12 to zero. And that's how you play the game πŸ˜…

Not really an illusion for everyone if you are smart and play your cards right with tmob promos. Free is free if you plan on staying with Tmobile. I switched from VERIZON years ago and never looked back. Trade in some junk if ya got it, or buy a trade in off CL or wherever. Get the $800 or $830 in bill credits..pay it off and flip phone if ya don't need it. Obviously you'll get a little less, but you'll still get the bill credits. Wife's got and Iphone 12 after trading in a 8 I bought for 150 and I got s21 ultra, 800 off, by turning in a phone with street value of about 150.

Working 5 past promos, my eip bill credits are about $38 more my eip payments on the 2 new phone we use. And I have a negative $500 balance. Basically eip equals minus $38 from my bill...the best part is the bill... grab those free lines....I recently joined the 9-12 line club, with hookup, my bill comes to $69 with netflix. for 9 lines, 4 paid,5 free. Then.... there are 4 kickbacks knocking atleast another $32 off. So now that my brings plan down to $37. Factor in my negative $38 eip and for the next 16 to 20 months I'll be are minus $1 a month with over $500 account credit. Even if I do nothing else, when BC's run off, I'll be back to paying $37/month....but with over $500 in credit, it'll be over 3 years before I have to pay. Beats handing verizon $250/month.

Ok, if you are paying for unlimited on a line, they WILL NOT BECOME FREE. You need to downgrade them to free limited data as soon as possible.

Yes that was me. T-force said to not touch your plan, including the data option changes 🀷; on the 18th the free unlimited data will kick in (I presume it's an added data option). Only lines on your grandfathered plan before today will be eligible.

I have 9 lines, 7 already with unlimited high speed data w/ 10GB LTE hotspot, one with just 10GB LTE (so this will get the free upgrade), and one that I paid $15/mo for unlimited data (unfortunately this one will likely not get it since it already has the "paid" unlimited high speed data option) - this line missed it last time too because I had the $15 unlimited high speed data option, oh well.

T-force told me the system already did a snapshot today so downgrading it won't make that line eligible. See my post above. I missed it 2 years ago when they texted out the promo too and all my lines got it for free except the one with the paid unlimited data option; i immediately removed the paid option to no avail because they already know which lines don't have the unlimited data when they texted the promo message.

So be careful. If you remove that paid option on a grandfathered plan it may be VERY HARD to get it back. I'm going to leave it alone and just hope on the 18th my line gets it. Otherwise, I still have that paid option.
