To uninstall many junk apps preloaded by Samsung:
- Download, install, and launch the Minimal ADB and Fast Boot tool on your PC.
- Download, install, and launch the App Inspector app on the phone.
- On your phone, go to Settings and tap on About Phone. Find the Build Number and tap on it 7 times to enable Developer Options.
- Enter Developer Options and enable USB Debugging.
- Connect the phone to the PC via the supplied USB cable.
- Change to "file transfer (MTP)" mode at the phone.
- You will see a prompt on your phone asking you to authorize a connection with the computer. Grant it.
- Enter the command "adb devices" (no ") at the command prompt (PC screen).
- Enter the command "adb shell" if you see the serial number of the phone displayed. If not, then remove/reconnect the USB cable, grant connection, and retype the "adb devices" command.
- Enter pm uninstall -k --user 0 <name of package> for the app that you want to uninstall as displayed in App Inspector.
For Example, to remove youtube: pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.youtube
To restore youtube: cmd package install-existing com.google.android.youtube

Hopefully costco would give the cash deal. I hate the 24 months bill credit. Anybody know if my iPhone 11 has couple months to go, it would lose the bill credit if I pay it off early

Are you 100% sure tho? I don't mind canceling mine
If you can somehow get the SOC code for the unlimited 4G data addon before you unenroll it you will at least have it available to ask T-Mobile to add it back if they don't give it for free for that line. The trouble is most T-Mobile CSRs don't know how to do it but with the SOC code they can probably do it easily. My only hesitation is prior to 4/7 (the announcement) the system already identified which lines are eligible so changing it to not unlimited now won't make it eligible, that's what T-force told me. Then again I can be wrong. I will try to chat with another T-force CSR later

Does anyone know if one line can have multiple bill credits?

I know if I pay off an EIP early, then I would still continue to get the bill credits. But what if I pay off an EIP early (that has bill credits) and then do another promo (like the free Samsung A32 5G or the half off iPhone 12 mini), would both bill credits show up?

Thank you!

I assume it's too late to start a new line today on a plan with data limits and get transferred to unlimited on 4/18?

You can but they may mess it up & it would require several calls to straighten it out

Good question, I'm in the same boat. And recently I even bit the bullet and started paying for unlimited high-speed data add-on at $20 per line. The chat agent yesterday mentioned "if your data plan is migrated to the unlimited plan we offer for FREE, no need to pay those additional fees for high-speed data. And while we are waiting for our batch to be migrated, we would need to pay the $40 for the meantime."
Thanks! I hope he/she provided you the correct information.

It seems to me that the best promotion would be to get a credit for an unlimited mobile plan if you try the 5g home internet.

Minor update, I brought my complaint about removing the $20 add-on to the ceo email and the response I got back from a very unhelpful woman (Abigail Alvarez) was that because I had made a change to my plan the whole account would now be ineligible to receive the promotion. Something to consider for those of you thinking about doing what I did. For my part I am going to stick with this and see what happens after the promotion is implemented on the 18th. I must say it felt very punitive what she was telling me given that the reps on T-force said that just that LINE wouldn't be eligible for the upgraded data. Hopefully I haven't created a red flag in my account at this point where they just try to get rid of me as a customer.

For those wondering, my SOC codes were:
SCFUTT6 - Base plan for 6 lines + 3 free AAL promos
SC2HDAT1B - 4GB Free data on Simple choice
SC2HXDAT1 - 4GB Free data on Simple choice (some lines have this add-on instead)
SCUNL2HHS - $20/month "Unlimited high speed data with 5GB tethering"

Awesome! Just for clarification, it's 3 on the same line? I have multiple bill credits too but across multiple lines. So I know that's not an issue. Thank you!

I have a Galaxy S3 (somewhere) that I would gladly trade in just to have a better phone. Does the new phone have to be activated or can we get it and pay for it but just use it as a wifi device (because I'm perfectly fine using my LG V35 as an actual phone right now)
It does not have to be activated.

Wow, the Unlimited upgrade will be awesome if true.

Right now I have a 60GB share plan and with a rentention promo I pay $160 after-tax for 9 lines.

The fees for the additional lines are all discounted to free.

So my plan will literally be cheaper than the $15 unlimited kickstart.

Did you mean you have all 3 on the same line, or on 3 separate lines?

My understanding is that once you paid off your EIP, the remaining balance of the bill credits will be attached to account level, not individual line level. Therefore, you can do another EIP on that paid-off EIP line. But I know know if you paid off EIP on two or more separate lines, will remaining bill credit balances of those lines all attached to account level together or not.
