To uninstall many junk apps preloaded by Samsung:
- Download, install, and launch the Minimal ADB and Fast Boot tool on your PC.
- Download, install, and launch the App Inspector app on the phone.
- On your phone, go to Settings and tap on About Phone. Find the Build Number and tap on it 7 times to enable Developer Options.
- Enter Developer Options and enable USB Debugging.
- Connect the phone to the PC via the supplied USB cable.
- Change to "file transfer (MTP)" mode at the phone.
- You will see a prompt on your phone asking you to authorize a connection with the computer. Grant it.
- Enter the command "adb devices" (no ") at the command prompt (PC screen).
- Enter the command "adb shell" if you see the serial number of the phone displayed. If not, then remove/reconnect the USB cable, grant connection, and retype the "adb devices" command.
- Enter pm uninstall -k --user 0 <name of package> for the app that you want to uninstall as displayed in App Inspector.
For Example, to remove youtube: pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.youtube
To restore youtube: cmd package install-existing com.google.android.youtube

Hopefully costco would give the cash deal. I hate the 24 months bill credit. Anybody know if my iPhone 11 has couple months to go, it would lose the bill credit if I pay it off early

I'm on an old SC plan, how are people getting their lines for $15 per line? I pay $150 for 6 lines now with no additional data plans. And I thought I had it good with my government discount but they took that away last year. Amazed at what some of you are paying.

Yeah, what the executive CSR told me (whole account is now ineligible) is in conflict with what T-force told me (they claimed it would only impact that one line), so we'll have to see how it goes on the 18th. In retrospect I should have probably waited, but what i'd like to know is if I had waited and then after the 18th cancelled my $20 unlimited add-on, do the other lines keep their unlimited data for free or does the system remove this from all the other lines as well?
Each line has its "own" data add-on section. So if you "unselect" an a data option on April 18 or after on one line, it should not affect the others.

There are several different types of simple choice and select choice plans. One of the more recent ones that got really popular was NAFUTT4 (and there's another equivalent that allows for governmental discounts) which is 4 lines for $120 with unlimited data + either 4 or 10gb hotspot i believe on each line. Then, you could have been adding the free lines in the past like 3ish years which could boost it up to like 10 lines for the same price except you pay taxes on each line which comes to about $5. There are also lines that have taxes included so you dont actually pay extra for the lines.

I stuck with my select choice as it fits my needs. just have 2 kids and its $50 for 2 lines. added 1 line for $5 and pay $0 for unlimited highspeed data and 10gb hotspot. bills are coming out to $60 with government discount.

If you look around, do research, and try hard enough, you can possibly get lucky.

I'm not sure if I'm reading this right. I'm on a Sprint 40GB Family Plan. Am I getting upgraded to unlimited for free? If so, do I have to call in, or will it be done automatically?

Thanks!

I've got 3 iPhone 11s that it's probably worth paying the tax to upgrade to iphone 12s. I could see them giving a free 13 for 11 trade in when the 13 comes out in September though. I guess that's far enough away yet that I wouldn't be too mad if it happens.

T-Mobile is amazing value if you put in some work and join the right time. So many folks out there have like 18 lines for 50/month or some crazy low value. lol

I've been with T-Mobile for almost two years...Picked up a good amount of free lines and also combined a couple of accounts that had free lines. Currently paying 174/month for 12 lines on Magenta. This un-carrier deals makes it sweeter. 24 months of bill credits? No problem cause we aren't going anywhere!

18 lines for $50/month ?
That is crazy shit right there.

Imagine, all 18 unlimited lines, just for $50/month.

I am in unlimited lines already, but much less than 18 lines, paying 2-3 times.
Having less than 10gb hotspot quota.

Damn TMobile

Little confused if trading in the iPhone 6s plus. It wouldn't qualify for the half off iPhone 12 but for the mini it would be $415 off?

So have you heard of anyone recently who have been able to add the select choice like you are on? also what is your line limit on that plan is it 8 or 10 lines just like Simple Choice plans?

Its weird, we had a gov't discount, but they didn't take it away completely. I still see a small discount on 2 of my lines. But the big one I was getting on my base plan went away... Something is better than nothing.

I agree, I thought I was doing good for 8 lines with $150 (including taxes and fees), but I see what others post and am amazed. I will be happy when the unlimited data kicks in as we were on an old simple choice plan with 4gb per line.

I have not but i don't really follow up with much people. the only reference i have is from you/the reddit post you mentioned it in. i will likely be adding extra lines again once another really good add a line promotion comes around that i cant resist and trying to work my magic to add the 10sfmgb to them Stick Out Tongue

I'm still on a 2007 plan with T-zone, $9.99+tax/month with 2000 talk/text and unlimited data. The catch is T-zone data only works with iPhones and devices sold outside of US. If they really do upgrade me to unlimited plan and keep the same rate that would be great, because that means I can use any device. That would be the ultimate prize for those holding onto the grandfathered plans.

Yeah... I've seen some pretty crazy accounts that people posted on the subreddit. Plan ends up dirt cheap after they get all sorts of discounts, kickbacks, free lines, etc. It's some wizardry. Wish I had known this awhile back... I'd be down for cheap postpaid service even if service may or may not be reliable in some areas.
