To uninstall many junk apps preloaded by Samsung:
- Download, install, and launch the Minimal ADB and Fast Boot tool on your PC.
- Download, install, and launch the App Inspector app on the phone.
- On your phone, go to Settings and tap on About Phone. Find the Build Number and tap on it 7 times to enable Developer Options.
- Enter Developer Options and enable USB Debugging.
- Connect the phone to the PC via the supplied USB cable.
- Change to "file transfer (MTP)" mode at the phone.
- You will see a prompt on your phone asking you to authorize a connection with the computer. Grant it.
- Enter the command "adb devices" (no ") at the command prompt (PC screen).
- Enter the command "adb shell" if you see the serial number of the phone displayed. If not, then remove/reconnect the USB cable, grant connection, and retype the "adb devices" command.
- Enter pm uninstall -k --user 0 <name of package> for the app that you want to uninstall as displayed in App Inspector.
For Example, to remove youtube: pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.youtube
To restore youtube: cmd package install-existing com.google.android.youtube

Hopefully costco would give the cash deal. I hate the 24 months bill credit. Anybody know if my iPhone 11 has couple months to go, it would lose the bill credit if I pay it off early

For the trade in phones (A32,) do you need to keep them on your account for the duration of 24 months or can you just sell it off? I already have 5G phones on all my lines, but am hoping to get rid of some older phones.

I'm still on a 2007 plan with T-zone, $9.99+tax/month with 2000 talk/text and unlimited data. The catch is T-zone data only works with iPhones and devices sold outside of US. If they really do upgrade me to unlimited plan and keep the same rate that would be great, because that means I can use any device. That would be the ultimate prize for those holding onto the grandfathered plans.
Wow that is awesome, You Win The Internet Today! I bet many people don't have that plan anymore. So how much is your total with taxes/fees? Also are you able to add additional lines & even MI mobile internet lines?

Your free lines qualify also so you can get four A32 5G phones.

You should read my previous posts about T-Force warning not to touch your plan; look at user DNARNA's post (he communicated with an executive CSR). If those warnings aren't enough, then go ahead and try un-enrolling. Just a warning, especially if you have other lines with limited data that can benefit from the upgrade. Again, if you had done so before 4/7/21, it wouldn't have been an issue.
As I said, if you don't drop the charge on the line they will not become free. Do it as soon as possible. *wink*

There are several different types of simple choice and select choice plans. One of the more recent ones that got really popular was NAFUTT4 (and there's another equivalent that allows for governmental discounts) which is 4 lines for $120 with unlimited data + either 4 or 10gb hotspot i believe on each line. Then, you could have been adding the free lines in the past like 3ish years which could boost it up to like 10 lines for the same price except you pay taxes on each line which comes to about $5. There are also lines that have taxes included so you dont actually pay extra for the lines.

I stuck with my select choice as it fits my needs. just have 2 kids and its $50 for 2 lines. added 1 line for $5 and pay $0 for unlimited highspeed data and 10gb hotspot. bills are coming out to $60 with government discount.

If you look around, do research, and try hard enough, you can possibly get lucky.
I have a select choice plan. How are you paying $0 for unlimited data?

Nope. You can still get the bill credit even you pay off early. It takes two billing cycles to get adjusted though.

Can you actually ask TM associate to change your plan by giving another (hopefully) better SOC?

Is it that simple?

For context, it's worth stating that you're effectively buying a $282 phone paid at $11.75/month over 24 months and T-Mobile will give you a $11.75/month credit over those 24 months to make the net balance zero thus making it "free".

You don't ever have to use the phones so you can sell them if you have buyers for them. But unless you pay off the phone (balance of $282), anyone checking the IMEI would see it the device is on an equipment installment plan. And any phones still with an EIP balance could be blacklisted and blocked on the network if you default on the account. So there's a risk to an educated buyer unless you pay off the phone before selling it.

Your best option is to pay off the phones, get them unlocked, and sell them. You'll be out $282 and won't be able to sell them for nearly that much. But over the remaining 24 months, you account will still receive the $11.75/mo credit ($282 in total) lowering your bill by that amount each month
