To uninstall many junk apps preloaded by Samsung:
- Download, install, and launch the Minimal ADB and Fast Boot tool on your PC.
- Download, install, and launch the App Inspector app on the phone.
- On your phone, go to Settings and tap on About Phone. Find the Build Number and tap on it 7 times to enable Developer Options.
- Enter Developer Options and enable USB Debugging.
- Connect the phone to the PC via the supplied USB cable.
- Change to "file transfer (MTP)" mode at the phone.
- You will see a prompt on your phone asking you to authorize a connection with the computer. Grant it.
- Enter the command "adb devices" (no ") at the command prompt (PC screen).
- Enter the command "adb shell" if you see the serial number of the phone displayed. If not, then remove/reconnect the USB cable, grant connection, and retype the "adb devices" command.
- Enter pm uninstall -k --user 0 <name of package> for the app that you want to uninstall as displayed in App Inspector.
For Example, to remove youtube: pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.youtube
To restore youtube: cmd package install-existing com.google.android.youtube

Hopefully costco would give the cash deal. I hate the 24 months bill credit. Anybody know if my iPhone 11 has couple months to go, it would lose the bill credit if I pay it off early

Does anyone know if the iphone 11 upgrade to 12 is limited to 4 lines per account like the free sammy phone? Have 6 iphone11s currently active on my account and wouldnt mind upgrading them all. I havent clicked through all the posts but i presume someone has mentioned cash back/points cards benefiting from paying each line off early right? Might be another way to recoup the taxes paid up front.

I found a list of all the SOC codes including data addons

https://docs.google.com/spreadshe...1340439917

The code he posted for Unlimited 4G with 10GB hotspot addon for $0 is 10SFMGB

Look towards the bottom there are a bunch of Unlimited High speed data with XX GB hotspot addons. If I don't get the free upgrade come 4/18 on my line with paid option I'll unenroll and try to get an executive CSR to add one of those with $0 cost

According to my Select Choice plan that one didn't work, but another did! So I'm grateful if its turns out to be true. Now gotta pay off my iPad and Watch. To bring my bill back to $20 monthly.

Was thar option for Simple Choice only? I have Simple Choice 10GB LTE Family Match Promo plan so I may try that after the 18th if my line with paid unlimited data addon doesn't get the free upgrade

Does the trade it phone need to be active? We have a 8 on my wife's account but also have a 6s thats just sitting in the drawer.

When looking online at this promo, you had to choose the line you wanted to upgrade, which showed the iPhone 8 we have which showed the 415 available credit

I did. Sorry took a while to find it. But I got an rep to give me unlimited data with 6Gb HS for $0. I tried for yours, if you had the 10Gb HS one, but she said that was for Simple Choice only and even tho I have Select Choice, its wasn't an option. I tried to say, well an T-Mobile Rep at the store claimed its was for select choice but its a no go. But she took an hour and tried other old SOC codes, and finally said the other one, I mention worked, and she would monitor my account to make sure its sticks. If true, then $20 for unlimited everything is AMAZING! Thanks you Smilie
Which data SOC worked? Have Select Choice plan here too

A few "free" ones you can try based on the master soc list (https://docs.google.com/spreadshe...1340439917) I posted above. But I would wait for April 18th to see if you get it for free data upgrade for this promo first.

10SFMGB $0 Unlimited data +10gb hotspot for Select Choice plans

SFFGM6GB $0 Unlimited included with 6gb hotspot

6SFMGGBB $0 Unlimited High-Speed Included w/ 6GB Mobile Hotspot

Based on what iNICK20 got, it's either SFFGM6GB or 6SFMGGBB. iNICK20, if you know how to use the Developers tools panel under Chrome, you can actually find the SOC code for that add-on (see my comments below).

The list has some $10-$20 paid ones too.

Awesome, I did some digging around using the Developer tools panel method on Chrome described in the "Line On Us" deal thread and found a buncha SOC codes in my SC 10GB LTE Family Match Promo plan (10SCFM4). On that one line I paid $15/mo for Unlimited High Speed + 14GB Hotspot, here's the code:

Quote :
"Unlimited Nationwide 4G + 14 GB Smartphone Mobile HotSpot","code":"10SFMUL14"
And the 7 lines that I got upgraded to Unlimited High Speed + 10GB Hotspot 2 years ago, here's the code:

Quote :
"Unlimited High-Speed Included w/ 10GB Mobile Hotspot","code":"NAG10XDAT"
I guess if they don't give me the free upgrade on April 18 on that one line I paid for Unlimited High Speed, I'm going to unenroll and try to get them to apply the NAG10XDAT code.

Why on Earth would people call executive offices to ask them to approve a workaround to your benefit smh
Because their announcement gave them the opportunity to make right something I was promised by one of their representatives at the end of last year. When I asked them to honor the deal I was told their "system" had no way to give free unlimited to old lines. Now that there was a way with what is starting on the 18th, they could have allowed me to drop the $20/month add-on. But instead I get the same excuse. The system won't allow it, and if you do drop it, your whole account becomes ineligible (which is NOT what T-Force said at all, just the LINE becomes ineligible). I'm just really disappointed in T-Mobile after so many years with them that they'd go out of their way to screw their old customer.

Many of us have had great customer service with T-mobile over the years. With the recent merger, I was afraid that might change. Unfortunately, I have been reading more and more cases like yours where it has changed for the worse. Sorry to hear this.
