To uninstall many junk apps preloaded by Samsung:
- Download, install, and launch the Minimal ADB and Fast Boot tool on your PC.
- Download, install, and launch the App Inspector app on the phone.
- On your phone, go to Settings and tap on About Phone. Find the Build Number and tap on it 7 times to enable Developer Options.
- Enter Developer Options and enable USB Debugging.
- Connect the phone to the PC via the supplied USB cable.
- Change to "file transfer (MTP)" mode at the phone.
- You will see a prompt on your phone asking you to authorize a connection with the computer. Grant it.
- Enter the command "adb devices" (no ") at the command prompt (PC screen).
- Enter the command "adb shell" if you see the serial number of the phone displayed. If not, then remove/reconnect the USB cable, grant connection, and retype the "adb devices" command.
- Enter pm uninstall -k --user 0 <name of package> for the app that you want to uninstall as displayed in App Inspector.
For Example, to remove youtube: pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.youtube
To restore youtube: cmd package install-existing com.google.android.youtube

Hopefully costco would give the cash deal. I hate the 24 months bill credit. Anybody know if my iPhone 11 has couple months to go, it would lose the bill credit if I pay it off early

Not for eternity for sure. . .but will be good past this year and some time beyond unless you choose to do something to get you off of it sometime in the future (i.e. choose plan change for phone deal, etc.)

That's the "not a limited time offer" but good all year long reference. That just means you have to grab it this year. Not that once you grab the deal that the promo pricing ends at the end of the year.

I don't think TMobile to change my free for life to unlimited data, even though they said so. Will call them on 4/18

I read press release again. I don't see any convincing statement that says you are getting unlimited data until only the end of the year. I am presuming it is for the life of when you keep that plan. I guess we will see on April 18. Pretty pumped that I never budged on adding more data to my SC North America 2Gb plan and will have unlimited data now.

Sorry, may be I read it wrong. The reason I said may be till end of 2021 is because the following quote
"And these aren't short-term promos. The Great Free 5G Phone Upgrade and Great Unlimited Trade-Up start April 18 and last all year long. Welcome to the year of 5G!"

If I want to get the free phone will they change my account type. I am grandfathered in. I have either a Motorola that the battery is about to explode, but works or a Microsoft phone that works well as a cell phone, but no apps. I get the best cell reception and more bars with the Microsoft phone - e.g. Nokia. Microsoft one has replaceable battery, so I have replaced it once.

I should be able to turn in one or both correct?

I read that to mean that if you want to take advantage of the free 5g phone or switch from att or verizon to T mobile to get unlimited data then you have until end of the year to do it.

The Great Free 5G Phone Upgrade: Now, everyone in America can trade in any mobile phone and get a 5G smartphone for free.
The Great Unlimited Trade-Up: For the more than 1 in 3 customers, all 60 million of them, still stuck on an AT&T or Verizon limited data smartphone plan — most with limited 5G access, can upgrade to unlimited data with access to T-Mobile's full 5G network for the same price — or less — than the competition's limited plans.

Who cares. Free is free and I will take it ( I do realize we have to pay taxes ). For me out of pocket cost for 4 phones will be around $90 with taxes.
No doubt it's decent. Especially if you have a need for the new phones and have extra lines with no promos attached.
Me, I already have an good extra phone that I use alot. I have a couple old crap phones laying around and I probably will trade in one of those just cause I'm sick of looking at the old Nokia windows phone laying around, collecting dust.
So now I'll have a new phone laying around, which can be sold for probably only about $125-$150 after paying off eip. About $120 profit spread out in bill credits over 2 years.
But now that promo is attached to that line for 2 years, leaving me just 2 lines with no promo attached.

The tmob trade in deals that fetch $800 to $830 are ones that are really good, as long as you have or snag the lowest tier trade with street value of around $150. Usually those require add a line, but we all know how tmob loves giving out free lines, which usually are eligible for aal offers.
Example last iphone deal. Bought an 8 for $150, traded it same day for a free 12. Out of pocket cost $220 with tax on new phone. Could easily flip for an iPhone 12 for $650 min. So 650-220=$430. Paid off $830 eip so phone can be sold. $830-430=$400. $400 out of pocket cost for $830 worth of bill credits. That works out to $430 in bill credits spread over 2 years.
Now those are the really good tmob promos to save the open lines for.
Only works if you plan on staying with tmob.
With my bill of around $37 on 9 lines after, KBs, hookups, etc I'm nevvvverrr leaving!

Only been with tmob for 4 years and have been following their promos. I haven't seen them ever play shenanigans with verbiage where they turn around and end a benefit. They would probably specifically say it will be unlimited only until end of year and then revert back or be charged more.. Tmob seems to really want to keep customers and not piss them off.. Tforce customer service is the best customer service I ever dealt with...I'd say it's for life, but don't quote me.

This promo doesn't matter to me because I'm on the One plus promo plan which is already unlimited.

As long as they never mess with grandfathered plans, they got me for life.

In plain English, how does this "free" A32 work? If it's 24 bill credits, does that mean that you actually pay for it up-front, and then they credit you back for it in monthly installments over 24 months? Or is it actually free, and if so what's with the monthly credits?

It means you're financing the phone for $11 a month. And T-Mobile is crediting your account $11 a month to offset the charge. You pay all the taxes on the full price of the phone upfront, though, so around $20.

So I pay all the taxes upfront, not in monthly installments, but otherwise nothing else, not upfront, not monthly, not at the end of the 24 month period?

If so then this seems like a good deal to me, if you need or want a new phone and the A32 works for you. We're 2.5 years into our current phones, the TM Samsung J7, and while still quite serviceable, they're showing their age with lots of lag in certain apps or situations, especially when not on home WiFi. Like, Google Maps is SLOW when I'm out. We usually upgrade phones every 3-4 years, but perhaps this will convince us to do it earlier than usual.

Has anyone actually used the TM version of the A32 and if so what do they think, of the phone and its 5G service and performance?

Can someone explain this? I am lost does this mean (had the simple choice plan since it was 4 lines for $100). Now have 9 lines are all this lines going to go 5g unlimited? Or what does this mean overall?
