To uninstall many junk apps preloaded by Samsung:
- Download, install, and launch the Minimal ADB and Fast Boot tool on your PC.
- Download, install, and launch the App Inspector app on the phone.
- On your phone, go to Settings and tap on About Phone. Find the Build Number and tap on it 7 times to enable Developer Options.
- Enter Developer Options and enable USB Debugging.
- Connect the phone to the PC via the supplied USB cable.
- Change to "file transfer (MTP)" mode at the phone.
- You will see a prompt on your phone asking you to authorize a connection with the computer. Grant it.
- Enter the command "adb devices" (no ") at the command prompt (PC screen).
- Enter the command "adb shell" if you see the serial number of the phone displayed. If not, then remove/reconnect the USB cable, grant connection, and retype the "adb devices" command.
- Enter pm uninstall -k --user 0 <name of package> for the app that you want to uninstall as displayed in App Inspector.
For Example, to remove youtube: pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.youtube
To restore youtube: cmd package install-existing com.google.android.youtube

Hopefully costco would give the cash deal. I hate the 24 months bill credit. Anybody know if my iPhone 11 has couple months to go, it would lose the bill credit if I pay it off early

How do you get pass the imei field for a flip phone?
Just put it in there I guess? I am assuming your phone only has MEID, which is 14-digits, correct? Somebody posted instructions on how to calculate the IMEI's last digit based on the MEID#. You can also Google

I don't see if there's a limit to how many free phones I can get. I have so many old phones laying around.

Both 24 months credits and adding new line shouldn't be considered as deal anymore it's just crap.

Just put in 4 orders, those free lines finally had some use for them. Make sure to use a desktop website in case if you are having problems seeing the correct down payment amount on the mobile app. For some reason, the system was showing a correct credit amount for the trade-in phone, but the full amount during the final checkout on the mobile application was wrong.

Not sure how it should be done with phones only with MEID# ( they only have 14-digits, the system requires 15 ), but it works with any IMEI phone. Make sure to select the 5G Upgrade Promo All Carriers

I'm confused. Regarding the iPhone 12 promo, the OP and Wiki are both wrong about no add a line being a requirement? Add a line IS a requirement? If so, that makes the iPhone deal not attractive at all to existing customers. Am I missing something?
The wiki and OP are correct, no new line required. The Editor of the sticky post is referring to an older deal. The real one is https://www.t-mobile.com/news/un-...the-iphone Log into your account and go to the upgrade process and it showed up correctly for me on the Mini.

The iPhone deal, you have to add a line or qualify for all existing customers?

How do folks who got it like the A32? And what are the effective prices on Samsung S-series phones using this deal? If it comes out to around $100-$200, it might be worth the additional cost. The A32 seems nice but it doesn't support every current 5G standard and lacks certain other features like Qi charging and I believe dual SIM.

Did you mean you have all 3 on the same line, or on 3 separate lines?

My understanding is that once you paid off your EIP, the remaining balance of the bill credits will be attached to account level, not individual line level. Therefore, you can do another EIP on that paid-off EIP line. But I know know if you paid off EIP on two or more separate lines, will remaining bill credit balances of those lines all attached to account level together or not.
This isn't what the T-Mobile Corporate Rep told me. I was told if you signed up for a T-Mobile promotion with bill credits and you paid off your phone, your bill credits will continue. If you get a new T-Mobile promotion on the same line, you will lose the remaining bill credits from the earlier promotion. The new bill credits will replace the old one. Basically, you can only have one bill credit promotion per line.

This makes sense. Otherwise, I can sign up for promotion for a free A32 5G, pay it off and continue to get the bill credits. Sign up for the another A32 5G a couple of months later, pay if off and get a 2nd bill credit on the same line. Keep doing that until the end of the year until the promotion ends and sell the extra A32 5G phones. T-Mobile would definitely lose out then.

Works for existing customers without adding line. I just traded in my paid off iphone 11 and it showed me $830 in promo credits in the tradein page.

Make sure whatever line you attach it to does not already have a device promo going on. I have 4 other 11s with about $300 in credits left on them. From what T-force said, if I pay off one of the line and use the upgrade promo on it, then I will lose the prior ($300) credits

As there is a limit of 4 promotions per account...Is Samsung A32 promotion different from iPhone 12 promotion? As I have eight lines on my account I want to use four Samsung A32 and four iPhone 12 promotions...is this doable?

I sent to the T-Mobile iPhone page and shows add a line to get discount. I'm a bit confused at the moment 😔

As per your link:
Get iPhone 12 on us — for free — with the trade-in of iPhone 11.
Get half off iPhone 12 with the trade-in of most older iPhone models — iPhone 7 through 10.
Get half off iPhone 12 mini with trade-in of the older iPhones— all the way back to the original! Still using an iPhone 5s? That works. iPhone 4? Yep. iPhone 3GS? That one also.

… all via 24 monthly bill credits. Simple. The trade-in must be paid off and in working condition. No add-a-line or port in required.

I don't know about everyone else, but for me the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max all require an add a line. The only one that works right now is the iPhone 12 mini.

Edit: Nevermind. It does't show the promo details on the upgrade page but if you go through the process anyway the promotion shows up.

$415 off for trading an iPhone 7 worked for the iPhone 12. Pro or non-pro both were a straight $415 off. An iPhone 4 resulted in $0 and did not trigger the promotion for the iPhone 12/Pro but triggered the promotion for the iPhone 12 mini.
