To uninstall many junk apps preloaded by Samsung:
- Download, install, and launch the Minimal ADB and Fast Boot tool on your PC.
- Download, install, and launch the App Inspector app on the phone.
- On your phone, go to Settings and tap on About Phone. Find the Build Number and tap on it 7 times to enable Developer Options.
- Enter Developer Options and enable USB Debugging.
- Connect the phone to the PC via the supplied USB cable.
- Change to "file transfer (MTP)" mode at the phone.
- You will see a prompt on your phone asking you to authorize a connection with the computer. Grant it.
- Enter the command "adb devices" (no ") at the command prompt (PC screen).
- Enter the command "adb shell" if you see the serial number of the phone displayed. If not, then remove/reconnect the USB cable, grant connection, and retype the "adb devices" command.
- Enter pm uninstall -k --user 0 <name of package> for the app that you want to uninstall as displayed in App Inspector.
For Example, to remove youtube: pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.youtube
To restore youtube: cmd package install-existing com.google.android.youtube

Hopefully costco would give the cash deal. I hate the 24 months bill credit. Anybody know if my iPhone 11 has couple months to go, it would lose the bill credit if I pay it off early

Anyone figure out how to trade in a CDMA phone with an 18-digit decimal MEID number instead of an IMEI, either in-store or online? Thanks in advance.

Was your phone's liquid damage indicator triggered?
Yes, honestly did not know about it. All I know is that there are no cracked screens and it powers on and works. Yay me for not knowing about the water indicator (rep showed me)

Lucky you, have a low tax rate. Afte $20 "upgrade" fee, you only need to pay $38!
I need to pay similar amount without $20 fee
True that the tax will be a variable from $0 to near $28. Of course, that's a darn good smartphone for the price... still cheaper than a Kindle Fire 7" tablet (about the closest meaningful competitor I could imagine).

Good luck!

Taking the time to post this in case it helps anyone. I'm an existing T-Mobile customer with the Simple Choice North America 6GB Family Match plan and the free Unlimited High-Speed Included w/ 6GB Mobile Hotspot add-on. Two lines on the paid account with two free lines added on. I just finished ordering three Samsung Galaxy A32 5G phones. Saving a slot in case there's a better deal later. Plus, my wife didn't want an extra phone to mess with so might as well save on taxes.

It was a bit or an ordeal. Fourth time was the charm. First tried to upgrade without a CSR but the website didn't take my IMEI/MEID. My three old Boost Mobile Kyocera Hydro phones had MEID codes so I needed to escalate to a CSR. I initiated a customer care chat session using my PC and things were going well although the CSR was hitting me with the upgrade charge ($20 x 3) with the possibility of getting a bill credit later as he was going to request a waiver. He was also going to process each phone separately resulting in three shipping charges of $6.99. However, after going through the first phone, the CSR fell off the chat and just stopped responding. After waiting a while, I gave up on him and started a new customer care chat using my phone and got another CSR. He ran into some obstacles and wanted to try some different things before he also fell off the line like the first guy. Very frustrating. I decided to just call 611 this time and speak to a CSR the old‑fashioned way. Turned out to be the best way. He dealt with the MEID code issue without a hitch. This CSR was also very efficient and combined all three phones into one order resulting in just one shipping charge of $6.99. He also waived the $20 upgrade charge for each phone right off the bat. No need to wait for a bill credit down the line…or perhaps even have the request to waive denied. At the end I paid $87.36 for tax and shipping for all three phones. Had to put in some sweat equity but that's the way it works sometimes. Good luck to everyone working to get this.

By the way, the CSR told me a return shipping label would be in the box with the new phones, and I can reuse the same shipping box to send in my trade-in phones.

They're very strict about that. Look for a crappy flip phone somewhere. Maybe your neighbor or friend has one.

So I need to activate the A32 after the dumb phone trade in?
No, tell them to not activate the phone. It won't affect anything, plus you have a brand new spare t-mobile SIM that you can use later.

Give it time. Some people noticed that they were upgraded unlimited data last night (i.e. their throttled phones were no longer throttled; saw the appearance of 5GB hotspot that they never had before). It could take a day or two or seven to roll out to everyone.
I have the Select choice with 30 MB plan (megabytes lol). My account hasn't showed any changes yet. I've been using the line to download stuff and run speed test. No throttling and I haven't received the data exhaustion text message. Good stuff!!!!

Anyone else stuck on "Tell us about the condition of your old device" page in upgrading A32? This is after you enter the IMEi of the phone to be traded?
I got stuck on the page after that where it says the full trade-in value. I can click on "Trade in this device" and it shows a little loading screen, then does nothing. I don't even see a cart.

Have we started running a contest for worst trade in? One phone was a later model Blackberry. but that almost qualifies as a smartphone. I even had to reset my Blackberry ID password to clear the phone (which somehow worked?).

However, my other trade in was an LG Neon GT365. I'm pretty proud of getting any human to accept that. The store rep did have difficulty with a dedicated CDMA phone as others have noted in the thread and I'd love to hear about any success with those. However, I made sure to bring plenty of candidate phones.

I was only able to locate two in store, so I've still got my Cricket ZTE Prelude and Motorola DROID HD (aka RAZR XT912) for online orders if/when I pursue that option.

Good luck!

You are lucky to get the correct 611 person. I got the wrong form signed as JUMPUMP for 18 months EIP. After done everything I realized the promo is for 24 months NOT 18 months so I called back and they redo to correct everything as 24 months
