To uninstall many junk apps preloaded by Samsung:
- Download, install, and launch the Minimal ADB and Fast Boot tool on your PC.
- Download, install, and launch the App Inspector app on the phone.
- On your phone, go to Settings and tap on About Phone. Find the Build Number and tap on it 7 times to enable Developer Options.
- Enter Developer Options and enable USB Debugging.
- Connect the phone to the PC via the supplied USB cable.
- Change to "file transfer (MTP)" mode at the phone.
- You will see a prompt on your phone asking you to authorize a connection with the computer. Grant it.
- Enter the command "adb devices" (no ") at the command prompt (PC screen).
- Enter the command "adb shell" if you see the serial number of the phone displayed. If not, then remove/reconnect the USB cable, grant connection, and retype the "adb devices" command.
- Enter pm uninstall -k --user 0 <name of package> for the app that you want to uninstall as displayed in App Inspector.
For Example, to remove youtube: pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.youtube
To restore youtube: cmd package install-existing com.google.android.youtube

Hopefully costco would give the cash deal. I hate the 24 months bill credit. Anybody know if my iPhone 11 has couple months to go, it would lose the bill credit if I pay it off early

Are you planning on selling the A32s? I realize they're junk flip phones, but you're still paying around $30 for each of them. I have 4 8-10year old phones and will only trade in 1 or 2 of them because I don't see the benefit of having a bunch of extra phones we won't use just because they're "free."
You can sell those after unlocking and believe it or not, even beggars don't take flip phones so this is kinda lifetime opportunity to get rid of flip phones in my opinion.
Yes, we are kinda stuck for 24 months in the "jail" but if you are anyway in the "jail" then why not just enjoy that "jail time"...lol

These deals suck for iPhone. Better off selling it on your own in the open market unless you had a earlier model to tradein.
You are not even gonna sniff $415 for an iPhone 7. This is a way better deal than anything on the open market.

Just upgraded my iPhone to iPhone 12 a couple of hours ago, and tried to upgrade another line (in the family plan) to A32 5G. Everything seem to be working fine until I arrive at "Review your order", it keeps crashing for me with "OOPS! WE HIT A SNAG, The page did not load for some reason, but you are still on track. Try again"

Tried a few more times, same thing happens again and again. Did I do something wrong, or something wrong with T-mobile's web site?

I just got some message from Tmobile Twitter support and Tmobile over iphone. Each line can only have one device credit. You will lose the credits if you have a new device credit for trade in, even they are different promotions. Is that true? I am not on jump plan.
What?

So while the better deal is probably waiting for the next iPhone model, your particular predicament involves wringing value out of an iPhone 7 (which is likely to have zero residual value for any iPhone 13 deals). As such, this may be your last opportunity to enjoy any inflated trade-in for this phone.

Were this your daily driver (is it, really?) the 12 mini limits your out of pocket expense and serves as an amazing upgrade... except in the area of battery life. As such, the added cost of the full iPhone 12 may be well worth it if only demanding that you also value all the associated upgrades you're paying for in the subsidized price (screen, battery, and cameras).

Of course, it's been a wild year for trade-in deals so if you've waited this long... (but seriously, don't)

Good luck!
Jon
ok,
I should have been clear !
Neither my iPhone-7 is being used not the new iPhone-12 or mini will be used, I just want to sell the new iPhone 12/mini to reduce the clutter and selling locked iPhone-7 is not a joke as we all know.
So,
the real Q is, form the selling point of view which one makes more sense? 12 or mini?

Yes, you can trade in any old phone to get the Samsung phone.

Yes, you can only have one device credit per line. But once you pay off an EIP, that line credit becomes an account level credit allowing you to do another EIP on that same line. At that point, you will still only be getting one line credit (the new line) and the old credit which is account level.

Presumably if you do not pay off the existing EIP and then go add a second one on the same line, the original device credits goes away.

I thought we are not allowed to pay it off early. Isn't this reason why they do 24 installment so they can keep us in a contract?

So, iPhone fans,
Which one is the better promo if you want to trade-in iPhone 7?
I believe there are 2 right?
iPhone-12
and
iPhone-12 mini
This thread only mentions one promo that uses the iphone 7 as tradein - that's the $415 toward an iphone 12. The 12 mini needs iphones below 7 (so 6s+ and below).

Bro, please read the thread, folks have explained million times...
the "credit" (from T-Mo to you) continues for 24 months, but the device cost (from YOU to T-Mo) can be paid off early.
I just paid off 3 iPhones on my a/c from last year EIP deals so I could jump on this today and I can see all 3 credits still "active" at the a/c level instead of the line-level !

You are still getting a phone worth 100 and locking for 2 years. I concluded that it ain't worth it. Especially when you add the cost of shipping, taxes on full value and buying old phone from eBay for 10 bucks at least. You might as well buy this off someone for $100 bucks later
For people with T-Mobile forever, a lock for 2 years doesn't mean a thing so you still only paying 30s for a 100 phone. However do agree it is not worth it for people doesn't want to stick around.

ahh ok. I thought 7 is still OK for mini. But I think it makes more sense to go for 415 rather than 365 so yeah, iPhone-12 promo is better.
Although mini is $100 less so not sure from selling point of view if it's easy to liquidate...

Of course, as long as there is no "bill credit" running on that line, you are safe !
The issue is with "bill credit" feature which can't be stacked, everything else is fine !
