Thanks!
One more question if anyone has the answer - The order summary page says I need to send in the phone within 30 days when the new phone ships. I think there is a printable label from the order status page.
Should I print the page and sent in the old phone now? Or will the new phone be shipped with some kind of package and label so it would be easier to pack and mail the old phone?
once you get tracking number from T-Mobile or notice the device is shipped. you can start ship your old phone in. I have already boxed up my 3 trade-ins and ready to ship. your shipping label is in order status history.

I appreciate and respect your opinion but you should take into consideration that they are giving you a brand new phone for a fraction of what it cost to build. I'm trading in a few $5 phones personally but do you really feel that it's unreasonable for them to offer such a great phone that's brand new and offers the latest 5G technology in exchange for almost nothing?

I personally feel that them asking you to retain your service in exchange is completely reasonable. Also consider that they absolutely do not "put you in chain for 24 months" [sic]. You can still cancel your service at any time. There's not even a cancellation fee; you just have to pay the balance of the phone, which is completely reasonable.

Please take into consideration what I've said here. Whether you agree or not is entirely up to you but I hope you'll see things from another perspective -- the perspective of appreciation for a company that literally just upgraded everyone to unlimited high speed data service and didn't even charge for it. If you'd prefer not to support such a company that's fine but smearing T-Mobile for taking the tiniest of efforts not to lose millions and millions of dollars by asking you to become or remain a customer is not helping anyone.
they want free iPhone 12 and free service. also they want T-Mobile pay them to use their service.

Still no unlimited option on simple choice 4gb plan.

Is there any word yet on whether the unlimited option will affect simple global free data roaming internationally?
Some folks here and on reddit have posted that they have unlimited data now. There's no data choice to select and it looks like it possibly hasn't rolled out to everyone yet. If I were in your shoes and near the end of your billing cycle, I would try consuming all of my 4GB high speed data on one of my lines just to see if it's throttled or not when hitting that data limit as there's a chance your account already has it. Including myself, there are a few who have explained earlier in this thread about the value proposition for multi-line users vs. a single line, comparison with prepaid, paying off EIP, etc. These do not always work for everyone, and those who see value in it - can take advantage. As an existing customer with a paid off 11 on a free line, I am going to take advantage of the free 12 upgrade. Already took advantage of last month's free line with port plus free 12 with 8+ upgrade. So, two free lines with two free phones.

In similar boat but I could not specifically see the trade in deal for the Iphone 12. I called Tmo CS but they are not help... in fact, clueless about the wave of deals/promos that have been announced...

also, I have a Tracfone but it is still locked to them, I wonder if I can trade that in for the Free Samsung 5g Phone?

Luckily the store closest to me had a lot of A32 in stock yesterday. Was able to pick up one.

You'd be surprised how much these "expert" know. Heck I had to show the tmo store rep how to use their system to get the promo. 😂

Yes, all the care is IMEI matches. Confirmed with Tforce and Customer Service call.

I have old phone that only has HEX ESN (8letter and number) and DEC ESN (11 number) not IMEI. I called 611 3 times and none of the reps seem to know how to go about this. Anyone else have another route I can go?

Just checked an old flip phone. It powers on and takes a charge, but just notice the bottom of the screen has a few lines/corrupt image. This is the lower 10% of the screen where the menu bar normally is. Anyone know if this will be a problem.

Thanks
No one here is going to be able to give you any definitive answer. So your best bet is to trade this in at a store. The store reps will either accept the trade or not; hopefully it's likely they will as the trade-in phone really is a formality and none of these old phones we're all trading in have any value. If you have to send in your trade-in, there's a tiny chance someone rejects your phone and now you just bought a $282 Galaxy A32; I personally wouldn't take that chance.
