To uninstall many junk apps preloaded by Samsung:
- Download, install, and launch the Minimal ADB and Fast Boot tool on your PC.
- Download, install, and launch the App Inspector app on the phone.
- On your phone, go to Settings and tap on About Phone. Find the Build Number and tap on it 7 times to enable Developer Options.
- Enter Developer Options and enable USB Debugging.
- Connect the phone to the PC via the supplied USB cable.
- Change to "file transfer (MTP)" mode at the phone.
- You will see a prompt on your phone asking you to authorize a connection with the computer. Grant it.
- Enter the command "adb devices" (no ") at the command prompt (PC screen).
- Enter the command "adb shell" if you see the serial number of the phone displayed. If not, then remove/reconnect the USB cable, grant connection, and retype the "adb devices" command.
- Enter pm uninstall -k --user 0 <name of package> for the app that you want to uninstall as displayed in App Inspector.
For Example, to remove youtube: pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.youtube
To restore youtube: cmd package install-existing com.google.android.youtube

Hopefully costco would give the cash deal. I hate the 24 months bill credit. Anybody know if my iPhone 11 has couple months to go, it would lose the bill credit if I pay it off early

"I wouldn't think so. They're taking any old phone including flip phones and it's not like they're going to reuse these or even value them. So as long as it starts and the screen isn't busted, I'd think you would be good."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For a offer like this, knowing that a lot of trade-in phones are useless you would think that T-Mobile could care less about their condition, even a broken screen. I am not saying T-Mobile rules are wrong.

After checking several sites I haven't found if the A32 has Gorilla Glass or something similar. Does anyone have screen glass information?

You said you can pay in full or do EIP... when you pay in full, is it at the kiosk or is it at Costco checkout?
Actually I have never paid in full with direct delivery. I asked sales rep if I could order Pixel 4a 5G. He said he could order it but it would be direct delivery with no discount. I could pay up front if I want to. It is definitely online order. I believe you will pay at the kiosk.

To the tech gurus,

Which is a better deal/trade:

Iphone 12 mini, with Iphone 6+ trade,

Or, an antique flip phone/or another Nokia prepaid phone with A32 trade?

thank you

I confirmed that you can get A32 deal at Costco with no shipping fee and $20 fee plus $30 cash rebate. I saw some confusions about Costco directly delivery. Here are my experiences with Costco.

You can buy phones up front with ~10% discount from local Costco as long as they have it in stock. Costco sometimes run their own promotion which you always need to pay up front cost.

Costco also have direct delivery service which they will ship phone to your home. You will have wider selections than local stores. It is not very popular because you don't get 10% discount. You pay exactly what you would pay at t-mobile.com. They will not charge you for shipping and $20 fee though. They also have ongoing $30 cash rebate for direct delivery order. You can pay up front or do EIP with T-Mobile.

You can also get any T-Mobile billing credit promotions at Costco as well. Most Costco kiosk sales reps normally don't know all of these promotions. When you ask them, they will open a booklet. It contains a very long list. I think this is the hardest part of the whole process. Once they find the correct promotion, they know what to do. I feel like some sales reps don't want to do EIP at all. If you show them the promotions on t-mobile.com, that will get them looking at their booklet. For A32 promo which you are most likely trade in useless phone and try to avoid paying extra fee for a cheap phone, getting it from Costco makes sense. For more expensive phones, some might prefer to get it from T-Mobile store.

If you do EIP with Costco, Costco will handle shipping and T-Mobile will handle billing and promotion. You can't check order status on your T-Mobile account. Don't bother contact T-Mobile to locate your phone, they have no idea. I already tried that. Normally after 3 or 4 business days, your phone will show up. You might be able to get tracking number from Costco Kiosk after a few days but I haven't tried that. You will see EIP on your account almost immediately. You should see your promotion added in Account History or receive text message. If you don't see promotion added within a few days, I would contact T-Mobile customer service. It may take one or two bill cycles to see your billing credits but your promotion should show up rather quickly. My promotion showed up in Account History 6 hours after I placed the order. You can always return your phone and cancel EIP if there is a problem with promotion. This is why I will never ship my old phone before I see the promotion on my account.
At Costco, I assume you still have to ship in your old phone. Are they able to input into their system a CDMA phone with only MEID (and no IMEI)?

There is no "better" deal. It all depends on your needs or intention. Are you an Apple person or Android person? Do you need this as your daily phone or are you looking for a phone to sell? Do you just want a cheap backup phone?

The mini is a much more "usable" phone if you are an Apple person, if the screen size is fine with you. It's basically a 12 in a smaller form factor, but it will cost you more money.

The A32 is a budget phone but it's almost free (except for tax, possibly shipping) so who cares. It would be suitable for a backup phone, phone for someone who doesn't care much about phones or you don't mind if they lose or break it (elderly, child, etc). It will have almost zero resale value (especially after this promo) and no trade in value.

Yes, they will give you prepaid label to ship your old phone back. I can tell that it is the same prepaid label T-Mobile use.

This is my opinion and I could be wrong here. I did several trade in promos with Costco and they asked for IMEI. I think at that point it might check for promotion eligibility. When they entered my IMEI, the system showed detailed info such as model, color, memory size. This is why they don't need your old phone before they approve promotions. I have a few international phone that T-Mobile couldn't recognize on my account. I don't think I can trade those phones in at Costco. If I want to trade those international phones, I would try my luck at local stores and pay $20.

Go to Swappa.com and see what iPhone SE's are selling for [swappa.com]. Looks like 2nd gen SE are going for $250 to $300. Be realistic and price your phone based on what others have sold for. Or look on your local Craigslist and see if any iPhone SEs are listed there and price yours accordingly (aka a tad lower than everyone else) to sell.

For iPhone 11, you can purchase those from Total Wireless as well for less than $450. They'll come pristine. Check out this Slickdeals thread on Total Wireless. iPhone 11's are roughly $350 shipped that includes $25 for a month of Total Wireless service that you'll not use.
I'm not seeing $350, only seeing $599 for new. Hopefully it will come back in-stock soon or could it be my zip-code blocking me?

For the A32 trade in, the phone I am trading in needs to be on the account being used with one of my lines?

So I order the A32 as an upgrade on line A, but I want to use it for line B instead, do I just move my line B sim into the A32 and turn it on? I guess after I do that I can then do a "change SIM" and switch to the new R15 SIM?
