To uninstall many junk apps preloaded by Samsung:
- Download, install, and launch the Minimal ADB and Fast Boot tool on your PC.
- Download, install, and launch the App Inspector app on the phone.
- On your phone, go to Settings and tap on About Phone. Find the Build Number and tap on it 7 times to enable Developer Options.
- Enter Developer Options and enable USB Debugging.
- Connect the phone to the PC via the supplied USB cable.
- Change to "file transfer (MTP)" mode at the phone.
- You will see a prompt on your phone asking you to authorize a connection with the computer. Grant it.
- Enter the command "adb devices" (no ") at the command prompt (PC screen).
- Enter the command "adb shell" if you see the serial number of the phone displayed. If not, then remove/reconnect the USB cable, grant connection, and retype the "adb devices" command.
- Enter pm uninstall -k --user 0 <name of package> for the app that you want to uninstall as displayed in App Inspector.
For Example, to remove youtube: pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.youtube
To restore youtube: cmd package install-existing com.google.android.youtube

Hopefully costco would give the cash deal. I hate the 24 months bill credit. Anybody know if my iPhone 11 has couple months to go, it would lose the bill credit if I pay it off early

OP, the post doesn't mention that you have to ADD A LINE and trade in to get either $830 or more of an IPhone 12 (or less depending on device).
actually you can trade in a iphone 11 for $830 without needing to add a line

Well you are right to some extent. But what if it's a CDMA phone where they can't find or will have problems finding the IMEI number? You think they will auto reject those?
that's more up in the air but I think they will find any reason to reject if they losing too much money on flip phone trade ins.

I am sure they knew exactly what they were getting themselves into when they said ANY phone. They could have easily said any smartphone, but they didn't.

As a matter of fact, I think it's kinda BS that we are having issues with trading in CDMA phones that doesn't have IMEI numbers considering that's what Sprint use to use (and Sprint is now part of this promo). They should just let us bypass entering in IMEI numbers.

My biz simple choice initially was working fast (sc2gb) but now is absolutely hard throttled weird thing they let soeedtest at 150 mbps but actually websites r like cripple slowed..I check in change services and I can choose SC 2gb and it shows unchecked but I assume that is what I have.i can also move up to the higher capped plans at higher cost like 4 or 10gb..with mhs.
So then it may not be throttled. One way you can check is call them up and ask them to read to you what it says for data used so far. Does it say 2.0 gb out of 2.0 gb? On mine, it says on their system 0.7 out of unlimited, even though it says 0.7 out of 2gb online. Online, it shows nothing about being unlimited.

If you try it again and have the same issue, show them this link [t-mobile.com].

"How does it work? Simple! Trade in your existing mobile phone, and T-Mobile will give you a brand-spanking-new, Samsung Galaxy A32 5G smartphone for free, exclusive to T-Mobile postpaid customers. This offer applies to new and existing customers, and ANY old phone in working condition — flip phone, Sidekick, whatever that suitcase phone was called. T-Mobile will take it. And in exchange, you get a free 5G smartphone after 24 monthly bill credits and pay only the sales tax."
So the trade-in phones no need to be unlocked, correct?

I traded in a phone to get the a32, just notice that T-Mobile store rep added the T-Mobile 360 protection to my account without asking me. I have the addon remove now, $9, will T-Mobile prorate it or I will be charge full $9 for a month ?

This is just a 2 year contract for a low tier phone. Why is everyone excited about such a mediocre "deal"?
most of us have a nice inexpensive family plan will stay with T-Mobile for life. 2 years "contract" means nothing to us. you rather keep you old flip phone in drawer or this A32?

My line also shows 0.8GB out of 2GB when I check online in my account. But I chatted with t-mobile and csr shows it says "0.8GB out of unlimited" on their end.

Does that mean my line is already upgraded to the unlimited promo even though it is showing 2GB when I check my account details online myself?

If you guys are using the iPhone to check the data usage status, unlimited in this case is very vague. Technically every plan has unlimited data, even prior to the supposedly free unlimited 5G upgrade. What you really want is unlimited high speed. With those on limited high speed data, after the limited high speed data is used up it throttles it to 2G speed. Yeah the data is still unlimited, just not at high speed. I haven't heard from BJFish, I remember he said his lines were not capped for high speed past his usual 4GB quota, is that still the case now? I guess you guys will have to wait and find out. I myself have 2 lines that "should" get the free unlimited high speed upgrade but I can't check because I have the default 10GB LTE data as part of my plan and the elder family members who use them use like 0.5GB a month, lol, I'll have to get them to just watch HD videos nonstop to find out if it's throttled past 10GB. So if I don't get the free upgrade today, I won't be totally bummed out. I oniy need to get it on the one line I was paying $15 to get unlimited high speed data and that's done so I'm happy

Ok, just got back from store. Here is my experience:

1.) Tried to trade in a 4S for half off mini 12, was told and shown something on a phone that said has to be 6 or above. I believe the store reps just didn't want to do it. I'll try to do it via phone or online.
2.) I was able to trade in old blackberry curve for "free" A32. I have no faith in the reps as they didn't even take my blackberry, I still have it, lol. So i will keep an eye on my account that they did it right. The receipt i got shows nothing about promotion.

Any ideas?
You got screwed.
