To uninstall many junk apps preloaded by Samsung:
- Download, install, and launch the Minimal ADB and Fast Boot tool on your PC.
- Download, install, and launch the App Inspector app on the phone.
- On your phone, go to Settings and tap on About Phone. Find the Build Number and tap on it 7 times to enable Developer Options.
- Enter Developer Options and enable USB Debugging.
- Connect the phone to the PC via the supplied USB cable.
- Change to "file transfer (MTP)" mode at the phone.
- You will see a prompt on your phone asking you to authorize a connection with the computer. Grant it.
- Enter the command "adb devices" (no ") at the command prompt (PC screen).
- Enter the command "adb shell" if you see the serial number of the phone displayed. If not, then remove/reconnect the USB cable, grant connection, and retype the "adb devices" command.
- Enter pm uninstall -k --user 0 <name of package> for the app that you want to uninstall as displayed in App Inspector.
For Example, to remove youtube: pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.youtube
To restore youtube: cmd package install-existing com.google.android.youtube

Hopefully costco would give the cash deal. I hate the 24 months bill credit. Anybody know if my iPhone 11 has couple months to go, it would lose the bill credit if I pay it off early

Confirming that Costco is a bust; all sold out and they don't do backorders. Hopefully, they will get more sooner rather than later.
Doesn't the A32 deal run until the end of the year? Not sure why everyone is in such a rush to snag one. Maybe people fear that supply will run out early.

The current iPhone deals end on May 1 however, so people should jump on those deals now if interested.

If you look closely, it actually supports mmWave, but it is TDD mmWave with band N41. N41 is actually 2.5GHz, which t-mobile is trying to utilize to achieve faster speed but it is still slower than mmWave. I wouldn't call N41 band as mmWave because the frequency is not high enough. For comparison, the A42 5G supports 5G TDD mmWave N77(3700),N78(3500), and those two C-bands have higher frequency to be called mmWave.

For A32 5G
5G FDD Sub6

N71(600)

5G TDD mmWave

N41(2500)

For UK version, it only has 60hz but it's hybrid dual sim.

Thanks for the info and validation! Thanks for correcting me on the dual sim too, didn't realize the UK and US sites were different. Hopefully the other SDer saw your post.

They waived the assist fees, shipping fee, and sim fee from the start. If I am doing a device upgrade, I always ask from the outset for those fees to be waived. Almost always, they agree to it. If not, I sign off and try another rep.

I would definitely chat with them and ask for a credit, or some other perk that they can throw your way. Just tell them a friend did the same deal as you and was not charged those fees, so you would like the same courtesy extended to you as a loyal T-mobile customer. Peace

The silver iPhone 12 Pro I ordered yesterday was just delivered this morning. It's actually for my daughter so she will be excited. I am now thinking about also doing the deal for the Mini as you did. I will probably do it if I can find my old iPhone 5 that I have laying around somewhere.

waived the fees case by case likely..

Yeah my exact thoughts. I'm waiting for the rush to die down. Here's what I think is really happening. They want to move people to using LTE/5G. They want free up the 3G (and 2G) frequencies and repurpose them: frequencies are expensive, they spend billions to purchase the spectrum so if they can get people off the 3G (and 2G) quicker they can come up with new technologies using those bands. With 3G going away next year they're starting the ball rolling (they already started last year); the cost of the A32 is not a big dent into their financials, I mean they lock you in for 2 years, if you leave you're paying for it so it's no loss to them.

I'll worry about getting the iPhone 12 with iPhone 11 trade in first. I have no need for the A32 even if it's free, don't want to tie up a line with EIP; I know I can pay it off and get the next phone promo on it but I don't want the A32 to just sit around for nothing, I have way too many spare phones already

If I add a line now then remove a line 3 months from now would I lose the 830 credit towards iphone? Tmobile reps are giving me different answers.

Not sure what your point is and what you are saying here. I was explaining to a fellow SDer how to request a fee credit or waiver. Obviously fees are waived case by case. Otherwise T-mobile would have a blanket no-fees policy in the first place.

Can't remove / cancel the line tied to the iPhone 12 you got the deal on, whether it's a new line or existing line. It needs to be active 24 months for you to collect all that $830

Ok, let's say they are unloading shitty A32 phones!
But the thing is, we are also unloading super duper ultra ancient Stone-age era or rather "before the big bang era" flip phones...
Plus we all have 4/5 free lines in our t-Mo accounts, so there is no way we are leaving T-Mo!!!
So what seems to be a bad catch here???
We are soooo delighted that we can get rid of 10+ yr old phone n get some new phone . Moto blackberry n tiny Sammy flip phones

What you posted makes sense, as I was wondering what motive T-mobile had to push everyone to 5g. Obviously it is not because these huge corporations love their customers so much, although they try to spin it in their press releases as that is their reasons for such maneuvering. And yes, why not lock everyone into a 2-year "no-contract" contract by dangling some crumbs like the "free" A32 phone. These promos are so transparent, but they obviously work. Kudos to the T-mobile marketing team.

I agree, the real deal here is for the iPhone 12 for those who already own the 11, and don't mind 2 more years with T-mobile. The 50% off Mini deal is not too shabby either for those with ancient iPhones collecting dust who want a new iPhone with a small form factor, or just to flip.

Which makes using EIP on a free line the best option if have it!

Just mentioning about Costco rebate card should be enough!
Just as a reference, I tried using Facebook to message T-Mobile to duplicate your results. I told them I wanted to do the free A32 promo but was told I could possibly match the Costco offer which gives an additional $30 gift card. The person who was messaging me said they don't match offers so if I want the gift card I need to go through costco.

She also told me that the only way to avoid the $20 human assistance fee is by doing my order on the website but if I go that route there is no way to order two phones at once which means I have to pay for shipping twice.

Ooh that 50% iPhone 12 Mini deal is tempting, considering I have 1 iPhone 4 and 2 iPhone 5's that are collecting dust in my drawer. Those iPhones are worth $10-$20 at most. I think I'll wait to the last day to pull a trigger on that one if I do go for it

Because if you wait for a year, these phones will be obsolete by then.
