To uninstall many junk apps preloaded by Samsung:
- Download, install, and launch the Minimal ADB and Fast Boot tool on your PC.
- Download, install, and launch the App Inspector app on the phone.
- On your phone, go to Settings and tap on About Phone. Find the Build Number and tap on it 7 times to enable Developer Options.
- Enter Developer Options and enable USB Debugging.
- Connect the phone to the PC via the supplied USB cable.
- Change to "file transfer (MTP)" mode at the phone.
- You will see a prompt on your phone asking you to authorize a connection with the computer. Grant it.
- Enter the command "adb devices" (no ") at the command prompt (PC screen).
- Enter the command "adb shell" if you see the serial number of the phone displayed. If not, then remove/reconnect the USB cable, grant connection, and retype the "adb devices" command.
- Enter pm uninstall -k --user 0 <name of package> for the app that you want to uninstall as displayed in App Inspector.
For Example, to remove youtube: pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.youtube
To restore youtube: cmd package install-existing com.google.android.youtube

Hopefully costco would give the cash deal. I hate the 24 months bill credit. Anybody know if my iPhone 11 has couple months to go, it would lose the bill credit if I pay it off early

Just did 4x A32s over the phone. All shipping and $20 waived. Had to pay about $82 taxes.

you want to add a line and get the iphone deal? then after 3 months you want to cancel that line and run with your iphone?
Not exactly I have a nanny on family leaving in August. I want to add a line for my mom but don't know if removing the line in August will kill the credits.

As far as the A32 5G, I got a free one for my father in law. My takes:

Pros:
-Screen is pretty good and gets pretty bright (I own a S21)
-90 Hz screen is very fluid with very little hiccup
-Processor is plenty fast having 2x big cores and 6x little cores. OneUI has come a long way in being more efficient.
-Battery life is great even with 5G. My FIL came the next night and was at 75% still. 2 day battery phone.

Cons:
-Viewing angles aren't the greatest. They're not atrocious like TN or VA panels, but not great like OLED or even IPS. I believe the display is PLS tech.
-Vibration motor sucks. It's noisy loud but weak in feel.

It's funny that people crap on this phone over the 270 PPI.

But Pentile OLED screens in the iPhone 12 Pro Max reduces the 458 PPI to 305 PPI in terms of subpixels.

So this really has similar PPI to an iPhone 12 Pro Max.
Regarding screen resolution, people are just comparing numbers to the best available numbers and not comparing practically, how much noticeable difference are between them.

Thanks for the review.

Traded my iPhone 11 for iPhone 12 Pro Max at local store on Monday (4/19). Called T-Mobile expert line to get $20 assist charge credit back to my account this afternoon. Thanks.

Removing a line in August shouldn't have any affect on the bill credits assigned to a different line that you add now for your mom. I know you mentioned T-Mobile reps giving you different answers. If I were in your shoes, I would message T-Force on Twitter/Facebook for this confirmation as they seem to be the most informed as opposed to a random phone representative. Be clear to write that you're interested in adding a new line now and starting an iPhone promotion and just want to confirm that if you cancel a different line in the future, that won't affect the bill credits on the new line you're adding now. The nice thing about message T-Force is that you'll have it in writing (in your messages) for reference if anything ever goes wrong, which it likely won't.

People are over analyzing this. If you're not a long term T-Mob customer or don't plan on being one, this offer is not for you. If you must use flagship phone, this offer is not for you either. But I have been with T-Mob for 17 years and I have been ecstatic with their service. If they're giving me free phones for trading in obsolete flip phones, I am even more thankful.
I don't think most people are over analyzing this at all. We're just some SDers discussing a deal and pointing out a few things to the typical noobs or threadcrappers that come here.

As I said before, it isn't exactly rocket science. T-mobile has an agenda, and part of that is to lock customers into a 2 year "no-contract" contract by dangling promos like this "free" cheapo A32 phone on EIP. As you have stated, for many long-time T-mobile customers, that is probably not an issue. For noobs or others, however, it may be a horrible deal. Simple as that, and most of us agree on that, so not much to analyze.

This is all probably better suited for Deal Discussion, but since we're nearly 3000 comments into the deal, I think everything has been covered several times over by now, so no real harm in discussing things here.

Anyone get "account level" bill credit continuation after trading in existing iphone 11 with bill credits to 12?
The rule is, first the credits will start at the line level. Then after 1 month (earliest) we can pay off the device so the credits will move to the account level.
Now, this promo has started 3 days ago, so how on Earth can anyone get these credits at the account level in just 3 days???

True...
But there are too many whining folks here hijacking this thread and cribbing about "I still don't see unlimited data in my cheap arse Simple Choice 2GB plan"🤦 ♂️
They should start a septate thread for data discussion and leave this thread alone for A32 or iPhone-12 devices!!!

This Smilie

Wasn't trying to discourage anyone from getting the A32. It's a great if you have a use for it.

Probably too soon to see actual billing changes for this promo since this deal is new. Usually takes a couple of bill cycles to play out. However, I don't see why this deal would be any different than others where an EIP device was paid off in order to do a new promo, and then bill credits switched to account level. I have done several similar deals in the past, as well as this new one, and it all has worked that way.
