Correct - they are like "all other lines in your account will get it for FREE, yay!", "but this one line will continue paying $20 for it". LOL!

I don't know how to get a knowledgeable rep!
Don't just get an ordinary CSR through their website or app, use T-force (Twitter direct messaging with them). You may get someone who says things like it's only for Essentials, or who say you can't get it for free, or your plan is not eligible, etc but try again with another T-force CSR, you need patience and eventually you'll get someone who knows how to do it for you. I think the main reason folks with pay for the unlimited high speed data addon won't get it for free because they're already on it, albeit paying for it. So in hindsight they needed to select the default limited data addon that comes with their SC plan around 4/7 and then come 4/18 (or a day before that). it's too late to do it now because they took away that default data option. I called T-Mobile Expert and they tried hard to apply several SOC codes to get me the free unlimited high speed data addon but the system wouldn't take it because of the stupid paid addon still being there and selected. Eventually I got a hold of a Tforce CSR that was able to remove the paid addon first and then was able to add the free unlimited high speed data addon. The funny thing is T-force is very slow now (you need to have patience and just wait for a person) and I never even chatted with that CSR live; I went to sleep and they responded to my request in the middle of the night saying they were able to do it for me. I guess they have a history of my multiple chats and knew what I wanted.

What was your wait time with TForce? It took them 40-60 minutes each to get a response back and changed agent each hour (another agent replied).
T-force is very slow now. You have to have patience. But some of them know the system well and can help you get what you want. I mentioned in my post above I actually typed in the Twitter DM to them what I wanted and went to sleep figuring no one would help but around 4am one CSR replied and said they were able to do what I wanted.

try spend few bucks on ebay get a replacement battery
I am doing that for two LG420G flip phones. The batteries looked okay, but they wouldn't stay charged overnight. $14 for both = peace of mind!

At this point, I am going to stop testing.

54 GB and still FULL speed LTE, see the attached screenshot 53GB of 2GB high speed Smilie

Would appreciate if someone who has this upgrade, and their bill cycle cuts in soon can tell me if there is any wording now that says Unlimited or it will maybe still state 2GB or 4GB simple choice?

Most of these A32s will be flying in the market (at some point probably will be sold on $/lb basis like scrap metal...lol)
I mean most of the folks here are planning to sell these off on eBay and CL so nobody wants these to sit in the drawer and eat dust (like those flip phones we had for a decade)!
This is not true. I do not need phone right now but I know that my kids will "kill" their phones at some point. Or their Moto-s will stop working (they are from 2017). Or I will need second phone while travelling abroad for local SIM (some countries already open and my family will get second COVID vaccine shot soon). So, it is not a bad idea to have decent phone in the shelf. I am trading in Nokia 6303 which is pretty useless now (2G only on T-Mobile only because only T-Mobile has 2G GSM). I am not going to sell it in any case. I am not selling my old phones at all: they are either dead (broken screen, hardware failures) after 3+ years of usage (Nexus 5) or in the shelf.

Has anyone been able to get the unlimited data from a Tzones plan? My rep said it applied to my 5GB data plan and my wife's plan( that has tzones), but my wife is using 3rd party phones currently and would get an upsell page in the past if she tries to use most US retail phones.
T-zone is unlimited data.
Did your wife change the unlimited data to the limited 5GB plan ?

Is always on display available on the A32 because I can't seem to locate that option?
That's typically only available on OLED screens which this phone does not have.

If you have a free line that you're not using and it has the free data, you could use a dual sim phone and use the voice number of both phones and data of the free line and cancel the paid data. That's what I did before everything was migrated to free unlimited

Can anyone link me to an ultra cheap phone on Ebay I can trade in?

I already traded in one of my Windows phones. I had a flip phone I gave to my kid to make pretend phone calls but for the life of me can't find it.

to give a little more info. here is a step by step (this can work for any dual sim phone, but my example is for my iPhone 12 Pro max)

1. enable your primary phone number via eSim (if you don't have eSim, pop your SIM card in your primary SIM card slot)
2. pop in your secondary (free line, unlimited data) SIM card in the secondary slot
3. set your cellular data to the secondary line/sim
4. disable your paid data option in cellular (this is also necessary for 5G signal, as having both cellular data options enable will only get your LTE speed)
5. confirm your data is working
6. cancel your paid data option
7. enjoy 2 phone numbers on one line, and free unlimited data

bonus, if you have one or two google voice numbers, you can technically receive calls on one phone using 4 different numbers. One for your wife and 3 for your side chicks. Not that I have any experience in that arena...

My Samsung S21 was shipped via UPS and they just dropped it off in front of my door step. Yeah pretty wreckless for a $800 phone if I would say so myself. I believe the guy didn't even ring my doorbell. Make sure you're home to receive the phone or else... T-Mobile is too cheap to pay extra to have the recipient sign for it. I guess you can guess that much with a $6.99 shipping charge.

I guess if you have premium UPS service you can change it to have them hold it for you at their closest distribution site.
Got an iPhone 12 delivered yesterday. When i opened it, the plastic shrink wrap is opened, the lens plastic cover has been removed... I called TMo right away and I told them that the phone appears to be tampered with... phone is now enroute back... TMo said once they receive the phone back they will re-process and send me a new one...
