i got my a32 5g phones today. put one up on ebay and plopped my other sim card into the other one and spent a couple hours configuring it with my setup (nova, delete bloat, disable bloat, etc). it's better than i hoped. i have no problem with the 720p display. i made the font size smaller and put the screen zoom all the way down, i can't really see much of a difference between this and my $700 one plus. it's snappy and smooth. if i was forced to have this phone as my daily driver i would be cool with that.

Got an iPhone 12 delivered yesterday. When i opened it, the plastic shrink wrap is opened, the lens plastic cover has been removed... I called TMo right away and I told them that the phone appears to be tampered with... phone is now enroute back... TMo said once they receive the phone back they will re-process and send me a new one...
be sure to get your EIP fixed. when you return a phone for exchanges, it counts as a buyers remorse return and cancels your EIP on replacement phones if they don't process it correctly, so be sure to follow through on that so you don't lose your credits.

I would like a clarification from someone that knows how this works. I have both a T-Mobile account and a Google Fi account for work. if I upgrade/trade in a phone for the Samsung promo do I need to keep the new Samsung phone on the lines they become assigned to or can they be swapped out for other phones? I would assume the line credits would continue as long as the line itself is maintained, regardless of what phone is actually using the line. I would also assume the Samsung phone is locked to T-Mobile for the 24 month duration as well, but could potentially be used on T-Mobile MVNOs like say, Google Fi.

So, to be clear, during the 24 months of EIP credit on a line, I could swap in a different phone on that line without affecting the EIP credit, correct? And, during the 24 months of EIP credits the phone could still be used on Google Fi since they are a T-Mobile MVNO, correct?
ask in the tmobile reddit, there's actual employees in there

Agreed - I intended to give this A32 to my son as an upgrade but my initial impressions are surprisingly good. I have been able to get a few free or nearly free phones over the years and this is definitely the best one by far.

At this point, I am going to stop testing.

54 GB and still FULL speed LTE, see the attached screenshot 53GB of 2GB high speed Smilie

Would appreciate if someone who has this upgrade, and their bill cycle cuts in soon can tell me if there is any wording now that says Unlimited or it will maybe still state 2GB or 4GB simple choice?

My billing cycle started from this 19th. On paid line, it says following:
Unlimited High-Speed Included w/ 6GB Mobile Hotspot

On my free line, it says:6 GB High-Speed Data with Data Stash

I don't remember what it used to show before.

any apps with the uninstall button available are safe to uninstall and any app with disable button without uninstall available is safe to disable. i went through the whole list in the Settings/Apps and uninstalled or disabled everything that i'll never use.

Finally got unlimited 5g! Had 2 paid unlimited lines on my plan, with one line having used over 50gb. Had to call 3 different days and speak with 3 different reps to finally get that done. T-force refused, but phone CSR got it done. They had to 1st remove the existing paid unlimited and then put the default limited plan for the account and do something after that to make it unlimited.

Edit: FYI - it still shows limited data on the lines, but actual usage is full speed LTE.

Can anyone link me to an ultra cheap phone on Ebay I can trade in?

I already traded in one of my Windows phones. I had a flip phone I gave to my kid to make pretend phone calls but for the life of me can't find it.
If you're willing to pay for shipping ($5-8 I'm guessing) I can send you one for free. Just PM me.

Yup that's what got me my free unlimited high speed data upgrade. I called T-Mobile Expert and chatted with T-force and T-force was the one to help me get it done, They removed my paid addon, put it on plan's default limited data addon and finally added the free unlimited high speed data w/ 10GB hotspot. You have to be persistent, keep trying, and be patient.

How did you get 10gb hotspot? It only shows 3gb for me :-( It shows 2gb data with 3gb, but the data is actually unlimited, tested by using.

That's my family plan (10GB LTE family match promo). So the original data becomes the quota for the hotspot.

So if you have a 4GB plan your hotspot will be 4GB. 6GB plan means 6GB hotspot

I guess 2GB plan has 3GB hotspot
