they lowered it to $365 off the 12 mini right? for those older phones...i think you need 7 or newer for $415 off right?
Yes $365 for older phones. Didn't know would get an uprising for rounding up to $400.

You are correct. That dude is clueless and is spreading misinformation in these threads for some odd reason.
What's misinformation? The price? My bad I rounded up. To add specifics: if you clck on iphone 12, you will see the promotion offer makes reference to the iphone 12 mini inclusion as well only a need to trade-in. If you click on the iPhone 12mini promotion, the website currently makes no reference to the ability for one to trade-in an older iphone 5 or older. So, be sure to click on iphone 12 promotion link to see reference and 12 mini discount.

So glad I drop the paid unlimited option the date of the announcement.
For the unlimited add-on options on individual lines, I don't think it matters when you drop them, on the date of the announcement or now.

How soon can I pay off my EIP?

Eg. I upgraded my line to the iphone 12mini in store last week, trading in an iphone 5s. The promo is showing in my acct. I still have 21 days to my billing cycle. Can I pay off the EIP today thus freeing this line for another/different promo?

Someone already mentioned you should wait for your next bill cycle to make sure you receive the 1st credit for that phone before you pay it off.

If you receive the text today then it's likely too late to drop it now. This happened 2 years ago and I tried dropping my paid unlimited high speed data addon after I got the text. It never got the free upgrade while all my other lines did. I thought 4/7 was the cutoff point but I think when you receive the text is the cutoff point to drop the paid unlimited addon

Only Primary Account Holder receives this notification, not all lines. Does that mean it is at account level? I remember that there were arguments on whether you should or should not cancel the unlimited data add-on on individual line before certain date. I am not sure if that had reached the conclusion. If the promotion is at account level, are those arguments not valid at all?
Yes, the promo is at the account level. My wife went way over the data limit last billing cycle and never saw any throttling. No warning data usage text from TMo either. I can't speak for the unlimited data add-on on the individual line as we never had any.

In case this info can help anyone:

Ordered two A32's on 4/18. Got the phones on 4/23. Mailed the two trade-in's yesterday. They are on their way, and not yet received by Assurant.

I got my first bill today after receiving the phones, and there was both a charge and a credit for $11.75 for each, along with notice that that this was the 1st of 24 payments.

Nope, that's up to you to acquire. If you buy a T-Mobile 5G phone, a new SIM card will be included in the box.

Tmobile customer care told me yesterday I can have two equipment credits on my line without having to pay the first off. I did Tforce on twitter with the same question, they told me what everyone else is saying, I have to pay off the first one to keep the credits. Who knows. Will be interesting to see if those who got two credits without paying off the first will eventually lose the first credit.
