any issue if i resell the phone on ebay? Did the IMEI tied to my account? Do I need to take out the sim card that come with it? Just worry the sim card is tie to the phone number I used to get the deal.thanks.
That is why you need to pay off the device to sell it then you have no responsibility about it. Also buyer will check the phone's IMEI when they receive it . If it still owe balance it will show and the buyer has right to return it even though they already used it for a few months.

Talk to them ASAP and confirm if this is OK going forward because if the old one disappears later on, it might become headache for you to get it fixed... better to be safe than sorry.
Every single T-Mo cust care has clearly told that "please pay off the old EIP before starting a new one or else it will get overwritten" !
We don't know if they have fixed their system but why take risk?

My first EIP was in October and 2nd iN Feb and ive got 2 bills now with credits but i will take your advice and chat with them. thanks

SIM card is tied to your line and not the phone. If you are selling the phone, you definitely do not want your SIM card in there.

To make the unlock fully official, why not just ask T-Mo to unlock after 40 days (unless you are planning to bail...lol)? I mean I always do it hence asking !

The sim card that came with the phone in the box is an unactivated sim card not tied to anything.

For people receiving this new unlimited 5G data upgrade, did it say if the Mobile Hotstpot also limited?
I currently have Unlimited Included w/ 6GB Mobile Hotstpot which is also free, but if the update also gets you the unlimited hotspot, I will try to ask for it.

Okay here is a question that I having seen yet. IF I put my old sim in a A32m (or any 5G) phone and the display shows 5G then I am good to go, right? The old SIM card doesn't have R15 on it. The R15 SIM won't work any better than my existing one (higher spped or better reception)?
Yes, I think you are good to go. R15 was required for 5G at the beginning of the TMobile 5G rollout, Then, TMobile made one old sim (I think it is TM9260) working on 5G.

I've never heard of "unlimited" hotspot on any t-mobile plan, otherwise everyone would just run all their home internet off mobile data as well

How can we know our old SIM is TM9260?

Lol, don't be greedy now. You're basically asking for T-Mobile Magenta Max for free and even that has 40GB high speed hotspot limit
