I was looking for the lowest price on the Eero 6 3 pack (1 router and 2 extenders), The price would not budge at $280. No sales this time of year.
I wanted this kit after talking with Eero customer service and spec'd out my needs.
I IM'd Target and asked the IM Customer Service if there is anything they could do to make this deal -I told them I was ready to pay today. I also told them I was not interested in becoming a Red Card Member (wife has it already).
Customer service told me that when you try IM to cut a deal, they will always give 5%.. Out of courtesy she gave me 15%.
If I paid full retail on that $280, the final price would be over $300 after taxes (CA) With the 15% off, thats $260 out the door.
Prices are approximate and within a few dollars of course. Local pick up.
This is my first deal post after all these years of Slickdeals. Sorry if I missed out on something.
I thought I would share because this is not necessarily a killer deal but I did find out that you can knock off a few extra dollars at Target for just about anything if you deal with IM Customer Service.
Just as an aside, I had $200 from that Chase Freedom Rewards Slickdeals always posts about, plus another $30 I had accumulated from using the card.
Final cost of the Eero 6 3pack for me: $30.
