It can be used as my kid's table and mine. Or become a coffee table. Just want to save space

Yeah, I bought this when I lived in SoCal and could pick it up from Monoprice's Rancho store... Shipping is absurd for this! It's a great desk though.

250 at Costco with a drawer. YMMV in store
Don't know why you get downvoted, but I can add a bit detail to your info.
The one you mentioned is the Tresanti standing desk with glass top, which has integrated wireless charging base, 2 usb charging ports, 3 height memory settings.
It's also the one I am using now. It's rigid, looks good, but with some hard drawbacks.
1. Too narrow, front is curved so the width is 24" or less.
2. Glass top makes it difficult to use monitor stand. I managed to installed one but used with extreme caution.
3. HAVE to use monitor arm stand, because I use two monitors (27"). Even one will take half the width if using the original stand. Also only 48" long, way shorter than regular 60"
Therefore this can only be used for computer desk, not computer with books and stuff.

Costco no longer has that online, it's just in-store. I bought two during the last sale, but still saw the desks in store from time to time at 249.

No, where do I get tabletops for the L shaped triple motor mentioned earlier?
Ikea. You have to buy the 6'x2' and 4'x2' table tops form L shape from these 2. Comes out to around $71 (48+23 respectively) before tax.

6ft x 2ft

4ft x 2ft

Of course, you can get shorter table tops depending on your preferences, but you get the gist of how to put it all together.

I have this one and it's sturdy. Easy to put together. I recommend getting a butcher block from Lowe's if possible. It makes it much sturdier. It doesn't wobble too much and very usable in a standing position with me being 5'6". I highly recommend this. I currently have a 34" ultrawide on a mount, with a laptop on a mount, an NR200 pc, a pair of Micca MB42x, and a keyboard tray. The butcher block is 75lbs too. With all that weight, the motor doesn't slow down at all.

Just curious as I'm looking to grab one of these soon (possibly this deal): how do you all deal with cabling for monitors and the tower? I was thinking a cabinet or shelves next to the desk at a standard height that allows everything to move freely, but I'm curious if there are other good options.

Got the L shaped last time. Pro tip, test the motors out before screwing your table top on. Found out I had a bad motor after assembling everything 😑

I got the fuzibo one from Amazon and like it, since thus went out of stock when I needed it.

Instead of going with tabletop (lighter but might not hit solid material when mounting, I went with the 60 dollar 72inch long slab of countertop.... It adds to the weight (about 60 lbs) but the desk can handle it at 180lb max.

Have the autonomous one as well and short of it moving slightly faster no complaints

I bought this about 2 months ago on the Monoprice site for $229. It has far exceeded my expectations for quality and performance.

Yes, it's just frame and no top, but for the price, the build is very solid. At it's highest level, it has minimal shake as the legs are centered across the base. The control unit feels luxury with the smooth touch screen. I know some people vote against not having tactile buttons, I get it.

Honestly, consumer grade standing desks are still relatively new so the long term quality is yet to be fully realized.

I believe these have a 1 year manufacturer's warranty, and yes, autonomous and other brands have a longer one, but cost 50-60% more for a complete desk.

I paired mine with the Ikea Saljan countertop. Yes, it's laminate, but, it's a countertop so it doesn't feel flimsy and at $59 for a 25x74" top; it brings my standing desk setup to about $300 total. Not too bad at all. If you're unsure, buy with confidence, you really won't be disappointed.

Do you have drill holes to fix the top to the base? Do you know if there a wider top than 2ft which will work these?

For a second there... thought it was a center speaker shelf.
I think I have only seen one SD deal on them and that was years ago.

Yes you will have to drill holes and yes they have wider options available. Check IKEA's website

go for butcher block in lowe's, homedepot or floordecor, you have a variety of options. you can also stain and paint the color you want.
the better way to install the butcher block on the frame is to drill holes and install nut threaded wood insert sfirst, and then bolt together. that will be a solidly built table.
