i have this trimmer and love it. i would like the mult head system to add a cultivator but can't really justify the price. i'm tempted to get this trimmer again since we do cover about 4 acres and it would be nice to have two going at the same time to save time. worth it for the cost of the battery alone
i can also vouch for the chainsaw. it works better than i had expected. I have several larger gas saws that i use but my wife won't touch those. She LOVES this EGO saw though and uses the hell out of it.
I had a 2.5Ah battery die last year that I've been dreading replacing since they are not cheap. I'll buy either another chainsaw or trimmer for the price of replacing just the battery, just need to decide which one.

If you get a battery with a different tool, this is the cheapest way to get a multi-head
Thank you! Just got our first house and have been purchasing things as needed. Pickup up the blower last week with the 2.5a battery. And just grabbed the chainsaw. So this works perfectly.

I was in the same boat 3 years ago with my home and calculated it every which way. the Edgar+multi-head combo is definitely the way to go! glad to help!
Don't think so. Its been $129 on Amazon for a very long time.
Touché, that is the current price on amazon you are correct, I guess what I meant was that it's cheapest to get that particular tool combo to get a multihead. If I recall I got mine at Home Depot for $129 but it looks like Lowe's seems to have higher prices on the ego line

As another person noted, order the edger multi-head combo on amazon, it's even cheaper at $129
